Date from Yesterday - Women are getting worse!

So I'll try to summarize this story to not make it long winded...

Met a girl for drinks off of POF... She was 37.. Anyway she was semi attractive maybe like a 7.. So we go up to the bar, I order a beer and she orders a glass of wine. We talk for a bit and it seems like its going ok.... but then I could tell she lost interest at some point and because of her sudden break in conversation and her non reception to kino I also lost interest. She said had a lot of work to get done and had to get going soon (obvious sign of disinterest). She drank about half her wine and I asked her if she was going to finish. She said she was good and wasn't going to finish it.

So the check comes and its about 7 dollars for my beer and 10 dollars for her glass of wine.

Me: Ok, so we'll just split this
Her: oh I didn't go to the ATM machine today, I don't have any money sorry.
Me: That's ok, I'll wait I'm sure there's one close by
Her: Well its a date the guy is supposed to pay
Me: This didn't really work out
Her: I know but still the guy is supposed to pay
Me: I'll have the bartender give us 2 separate checks

Me: (calls bartender) give us 2 separate checks please, 1 for my beer and 1 for her wine

Her: No we aren't doing 2 separate checks... I'm leaving goodbye

So she ends up walking out of the place and leaving. I told the bartender I would only pay for my beer and thats what I did...

Translation: I was looking for some cawk to satisfy my cougar desire to prove I still got it. But early on during the date, I realized that you didn't make my Virgina tingle. Thus, I'm gonna bail early. Even though I'm a working professional woman making my own $$$, since you failed to turn me on, you must pay the penalty, ie the cost of the entire date. After all, it's YOUR fault my cooter doesn't like you lol. I don't really have work to do later. I'm gonna go home to my 50 Shaydes book and vibrator. I'm tired of p of. The funny thing is you know she went home and complained to all of her gf's about what a cheap guy and bad date you were. And she will feel totally justified in her assertions.

Thanks, I'm glad I did too. I am just astounded by her sense of entitlement. I mean this girl really thought I was supposed to pay even though the "date" (I thought of it more as a meet as I don't date unless I like someone) didn't go well.... Like it was the law.. I mean this girl really believed this.

What is more scary is I felt that if this scene escalated further the bar/restaurant would side with her and say I actually had too... thats how feminized this society is becoming... I hope to God that wouldn't be the case but I feel like women get sided with more than guys

I have never had that happen to me before, ever. But good on you for not paying. You should even had provided the bar her name and contact information.

You know I actually thought of this after the fact.... the one silver lining is that she picked this place as she frequents it often.. maybe next time she goes in the bartender will remember her...

I did send her a text afterwards "lol I can see why you are close to 40 and still single"

I agree that a woman shouldn't arrive at a date with zero cash, or lie about it just so she doesn't have to pay.

But the real question, OP, is: what went wrong during the date? Sometimes two people just don't get along. But I'm not sure I've ever had a date end that badly.

There should be a law that requires waiters to bring a separate bill for each person at the table. If you want to cover somebody else bill, fine; but it shouldn't be an automatic assumption.

try losing 100 quid with the same situation u had. Got led on and had bought lots of tickets to dates for the weekend with her.
