So highspeed, basically what you are saying is getting married and having kids nowadays is a very poor decision to make if you care about your long term happiness. Simply because at any point for no reason, women can end it and turn your life upside down into pure chaos which might explain higher suicide rate amongst men?
I totally agree with you man... But I see you coming at me telling me that a man shouldn't stop at just that because of how flawed our judicial system is and I agree with you on that again. I personally chose to stay away from it unfortunately, and I understand other men will chose the family life.
Then these guys like OP here comes in, wanting both of those worlds...
There is no winning guys.
Personally, open relationships been working good for me but let me guess this straight for some of you cause I know we're not all on the same page: I do not believe that a LONG relationship means a successfull one. I believe in short successful relationships. I also believe in long successful relationships. But the popular belief that a long relationship is a successful one is beyong me.
You are also very correct on both of your situations; she WILL be jealous... but who said this is the end of the world? I deal with it all the time... the only different is that it doesn't and will never end my relationship. Eventually, it literally becomes a joke between you and her... when you realize how insignificant it is. Obviously, you can't tell her not to do it while you're doing it... that's delusional and make you a controlling freak.
I think we all agree tho, you should always be wary of the law first and foremost but my point is, if you are already married with kids, it's kinda too late now and your only play left is to "buy the peace" as long as you can and hope for the best? While fighting your masculine instincts? Then what's wrong, what's right? Making your wife happy or making yourself happy?
Tricky question to which I don't believe there is 1 solve it all answer.
