Low sex marriages/relationships are just code for loss attraction for whatever reason.
This is a part of my idea that romantic relationships have a shelf life of goodness, regardless of how long they last.

Attraction loss will happen over time. The shelf life of goodness in LTRs/marriages is about 5 years.

If you know couples that have been together longer than 5 years (these are typically married couples), they are experiencing this on some level.

There's a reason that 2010s-2020s marriages have less sex in them than 1980s marriages.

Let's also not forget that if you are attractive...you'll attract..

It's easy to be faithful when you don't attract anyone. On the other hand, when you do "got it" you'll be having your woman on edge the whole time. Even when you are not necessarily busy with attracting new women.

I also think that these times many people have WAY too high bodycounts. After a while you simply want some new fresh p00sy. Or she want some new fresh D..
Women need their men to be attractive because it keeps them attracted to you and them on their heels because they know women are after you. You might not see it, but women surely do notice other women checking out their man.

My thoughts on cheating is this....I don't think 99% of the men on the planet can consistently turn down soft ball pitches from women. However, most men aren't going to work overtime for pvssy when they already have some at home. For example, even if you have a bvtch wife at home, you aren't going to jump through hoops, put in the work, go through the dating/screening bullshvt to find new pvssy, and deal with hiding everything from your wife unless you have to. On the contrary, you could have the most loving feminine/hottest wife at home, but if you are out at a bar or something with friends and Megan Fox or Sydney Sweenie offer you sex that night.... GOOD LUCK BRO   . TBH, I think women will forgive you for more cheating like this over the other way of cheating which is a complete breech in contract when it comes to patriarchy.

"romantic relationships" are a fugazi coined by teenage girls and women with the female equivalent of Peter Pan syndrome. Relationships that last longer have a lot more grit than what is portrayed by entertainment.

A lot of longer term relationships (usually marriages) have a long lasting decay phase. The decay phase of an LTR can last for years.

Married couples are also good at not letting outsiders know the extent of their decay phase until after the divorce papers have been filed.

A longer lasting relationship is not indicative of a quality relationship.

Both of us likely know 5+ year long couples in a decay phase at the moment, but these people aren't letting outsiders know, especially their unmarried friends.

The idea was mentioned in a 2014 article from Caleb Jones (aka Alpha Male 2.0, Blackdragon). Point #3 is a big part of that.
