Its a silly test for me. Do I miss out? Maybe. But not really. Smart women can read between the lines even if a word or two is mispelled.
Well all to the good dear sir (she curtsy’s). Nice to hear/see your voice.Im gonna turn you on. You will be excellently interested in at least how my mind works or more. The one chick on this forum. I have been here for years and read your posts just never made a profile.
I like a curtsy. Shows some class. I give you a bow.Well all to the good dear sir (she curtsy’s). Nice to hear/see your voice.
Im not here to impress
So silly of me on a forum to do..
I have spell check turned off .
From the experts:Sorry bro, I didnt properly explain myself. I was not saying that actual coping isnt happening. I was just thinking out loud that I keep seeing the word "cope" left and right and maybe sometimes its being abused or miss used.
Hypothetical example: A "younger" member says that believing that young hot girls like older men is a "cope". An "older" member says those young members are "coping" themselves for saying that. They cant both be right, can they?
I love grammar snobs. Nothing screams “high intellect” like faux outrage over minutiae.Concur entirely with @Pierce.Manhammer on this. I am a bit of a grammar snob as well so I am aware of both the definitions and connotations of words I select. I’ve used the term on occasion…occasions where it happens to be the accurate descriptor.
I prefer to quote someone like that and use "[sic]", which is a way to mention that the original text grammar is off but without being a snob.I love grammar snobs. Nothing screams “high intellect” like faux outrage over minutiae.
You’re right. That’s not being a grammar snob. That’s being a grammar assh0le!I prefer to quote someone like that and use "[sic]", which is a way to mention that the original text grammar is off but without being a snob.
It's not a mistake, it's foreign influence, they call it subversion, I've posted this video before but it's worth posting and watching if you want your mind totally blown by this prophetic presentation from the 1980s, I remember watching this in grade school and scoffing at the absurdity of it all.Our national perspective on intelligence reveals a profound misconception. This is evident across our culture, from bright children being labeled as “geeks” and “nerds” to prominent figures like a Secretary of State acknowledging America’s “right to be stupid.” We often view educated individuals with suspicion, labeling them as out-of-touch elitists.
Alarmingly, celebrating ignorance is becoming a badge of honor, which might explain how individuals with outdated beliefs like the world is 6,000 years old can attain public office.
Not knowing stuff isn't always someone's fault. Life's not fair, and not everyone gets the same chances, especially with our wacky school system. But thinking it's cool to be clueless? That's gotta change. It's hurting our country big time. I mean, would you want a leader who's proud of not knowing things? You wouldn't get a plumber to fix your roof, so why get someone clueless about economics to run the country's money?
Omg I’m stealing that.
