Just download the chess.com app to your phone. They have daily challenges that will up your skills.

To be honest, I don't have much spare time at the moment.
I'm still enjoying the warm days to do some sports, might give it a try in the winter.
You have up to 3 days to make a move.

I typically set mine at 1 day. Otherwise the games get boring and forgettable

I'm in Canada where there is no daylight savings time change-I think its called Cst time here.
Cool, but the point i was trying to make is that it doesn't matter where you live. You can play anyone from anywhere, on your own schedule

I get caught up looking for the checkmate.

Long game thinking is great, but you can't ignore what's right in front of your face.

I tried a challenge and two learner games and found myself ignoring their suggestiions and I just won this last one by checkmate. So my confidence is up rn. I'll try another challenge.
