WTF.

Spending more than 40-50 on a good pair of jeans is retarded. Stop being a tool.

I've never found a good pair of jeans at that price. You'll look average and generic at best if you limit yourself to that, plus you'll be dropping $50 every season for a new pair because the old pair washed out to sh¡t.

Despite your sarcasm, thanks.

Anyways, you ARE indeed a freaking moron if you shell out 200 for every pair of jeans. I shell out a max of 50 and unless I just outgrow them they last me just fine.

$50 jeans will provide for basic needs that clothing provides for: protection from elements etc. If you want your clothes to communicate value (and I don't see why anyone wouldn't want them to, since it's such an easy part of game), they have to have value. $150-200 jeans communicate about 3-4 times the coolness of $50 jeans

just because u paid 4 times the price, doesnt mean ur jeans exude 4 times the quality.

I agree, fvck the hip hop style(Im black too). First off, i almost always wear a hat, either a trucker hat backwards or a new era. For t shirts i wear ones with stuff to get peoples attention...ex...john deere, ninjas, having a black belt in keeping it real, people are always looking at me. I also rock polos, dress shirts and dress shirts under tshirts(it gets me A LOT of attention). I usually wear baggy jeans or cargo pants with some skater shoes. I get looks from people everytime i go somewhere cause im not some hip hop gangster wanna be.

I'd like to make it clear that not everyone can afford all of the name brands. There are those that do not have the funds to buy such extravagant clothing. They do what they can, there are other priorities besides clothing. Besides, the majority of name brand clothing are made in 3rd world countries , and the workers make even less. So you pay double or even triple for what it cost to make the product...think.

True...I like the shirts people make with rappers on them though, cause they are cheap, I got a bunch of Biggie ones and some Dipset ones...Id rather pay $15-$20 and at least its a rapper that you actually like instead of buying a shirt thats like $30-$35 and it just has a bright a$$ gaudy logo on it, thats not even creative or anything...

Do you numbnuts really think that there is no difference between a $50 Walmart pants and a $200 designer pants?

If so, you are more retarded than I thought.

WELL.

I went and got me some clotheses the other day. It went pretty well, what with all the Xmas sales. I basically got two button-ups, one some Italian designer shirt (marked from 60 to 20 :)) and the other just kind of a normal button-up. I got two nice hoodies (not baggy/hip hop style...one is relatively 'tight'...fits nicely. I also got this pimp motorcycle style jacket. Fake leather, but whatever, looks really good.

Um....I think that's it...

All in all, pretty good. It also has helped my confidence. I mean...when you KNOW you're wearing something that just looks ridiculously good  you just can't help but feel confident.

I go for a mix of smart / cool / casual.
How? Armani & Oneill, hahaha.

Seriously though, don't pay for labels.
Find a designer discount shop, they are best. Real value for money.

Know what I mean?!

Mad benefits of this style, Pychologically.

A. Its original.
B. People can't necessarily peg you, as this or that (cause your both)
C. You bring together dif. groups of society, classes, style, etc. So your inviting and unique like that.
D. When in a Rich environment you blend in fine, but stick out. w. intrigue and a lil rebel flare.
E. When your chillin on the street level, your cool like that, but still wearin some nicer clothes.

Get the feel of what I'm sayin!?

Hmm... what else!?
Always keep it original. Good way would be to see whats "hot" now in fashion, then put your own touches on it... mix match it your way. Lead the Fashion world, don't let it lead you.

And get sh!t that fits and flatters your body. If your in shape, let that be known through good fitting clothing. And I'm not saying... wear some guido skin tight black armani wetsuit bullsh!t club shirts. Just saying... whatever you do find that you like, make sure it fits you pimp.

Big thing is layering too. Mix dif. things, street jacket, nice dress shirt.

Or like wear a nice Dress shirt, and a ton of random leather necklaces or something. lol, Just throw sh!t off in a pimp way.

Oh, and besides the solid colors, in your wardrobe. Get some sh!t that has depth. Whether it be in the color's, texture, or designs on em. (whatever you do... don't get that homo ironed on dragon on a blazer sh!t). That look has peaked long ago, with every tool in the shed rockin something like it.

Anyways man... bottom line, be yourself. Just hope some of the sh!t I said here, might have ignited some more of your own creative ideas, approach, etc.

Good advice, I agree 110%

So in the unlikely event you become a billionaire, you'll still be driving an '83 bomb?

Wanker...
