I think you reach a point when your intuition informs you whether you need to wear a condom and/or if it’s ok to bust in a chick when you first meet her.

I think that a fair number of women have realized on some level of consciousness that the current level of pickiness they have is putting them on the path of being childless, and that a random hookup can be explained away as an "accident" - and if the man appears to be decent professional, so much the better for child support. Nowadays, I consider myself into this category, and will pretty much only have escortless sex as bareback - it will at the very least solve my reproductive problem.
