I remember reading Gunwitches pickup method threads of 2002-3. They were more of a state of mind technique that the woman picks up on.

But I mean this guy is UGLY. I had no idea. He was actually picking up women? If yes, then anyone can pick up women regardless of looks.

I agree, if that really is Gunwitch that guy is totally lacking in the looks department. But hell, ANYBODY can be a guru online if you know how to write and appeal to the masses of horny internet nerds. . I put it like this, if the guy isn't posting field reports, he has no right to be posting armchair psychology/theories.

If he actually SHOT that girl in the face, he's done. He's in there for at least 20-25 years for attempted murder. He might get parole in 10 years or something but I doubt it will be that early.

Another thing I'd like to add is, this situation is shocking and very sad. People who read "The Game" should know that Neil talked about the characters in the community and that they aren't stable at all i.e. Mystery, Tyler, Papa etc. Some of those guys have may changed now but you gotta wonder. If a guy teaches seduction what's his motive? is it truly to teach guys to be better with women or is it to make money and feed his own narcissistic ego?

Damn, I dont think some of you realize how huge this is. Apparently people in the PUA community are sending Gunwitch's posts, podcasts and videos to the DA's office. Can you imagine what's going to happen when the media puts all the pieces together? The community will achieve unprecedented levels of notoriety, and not the good kind.

Mark my words, at some point a lot of you are going to have to drop your scripted routines or anything that smacks too much of PUA-speak because Gunny here just f*cked it up for everyone. All it takes is a few bad apples, or one guy who happens to be bananas to ruin a community in the public eye. Once 20/20, Oprah and friends get wind of this, your canned game is a wrap.

Though I can't really say I'm all that shocked. I have never run into as many social retards, emotional asswipes, and border-line psychos as I have in the community. Gunwitch made it no secret that he always carried a gun and that he had no problem "shooting people" if they tried to mess with him (i think he actually said once that if someone tried to rob him - he'd shoot them point blank in the face and not think twice about it.)

From what i've read - he lived in a really bad (high crime) neighborhood in a town with a huge meth problem and had claimed to have been in a few gun fights (his own admittance).

I'm holding off on judgment of act until i know what happened.

I have never said an average to below average looking guy is going to be getting 8's, 9's, and 10's. Unless you are wealthy or a celebrity of some sort. But those guys can get 6's and below, and the occasional 7's, if they just act like a normal, fun, non possessive, non sketchy guy.

Completely different story for Gunwitch. For many posters he is one of the founding fathers of the online PUA community, right up there with Mystery, Juggler and all the rest. "Make the ho say no" is about as old as it gets in terms of online game theory.

Plus Sodoni is dead, there is only so much a field day the press can have with the guy. I'm telling you there is a decent chance that this fool ends up getting interviewed via satellite from those gals on The View. Guest stars that day will be Mystery and Styles along with a few radical feminists to really get those ratings pumping.

Even if I'm wrong, this is still gonna leave a ****-storm sized stain on the community for a while.

This is a "defeated" attitude; you are basically saying that people should just accept the cards they were dealt, come to terms with their mediocrity and just live their lives in neutral gear, awaiting their death.

Humans are where they are now (bad place or good, that's a different discussion) because they challenged themselves, broke boundaries and set high expectations of themselves. You say you believe in evolution, then you should also believe in the evolution of the spirit and the evolution of "the self".

All these "gurus" and PUA are just people who realized a flaw in themselves and set out to fix it; what happened to them since is already a question of their personalities and character. Some tried to make money, some genuinely want to help people who are experiencing the same troubles as they have, and some are power and ego driven.

I never understood people's obsessions with "gurus"; when I found this community and realized my own need to improve, I set out to find the info, read it and understand it, and take from it what I need most and apply it. There is a lot of crap around, and its up to the person to filter it and only take what he needs.

Some PUA's advocate magic tricks, some "hypnosis", some comedy and some promote cave man attitude and primal behavior. The real answer is there is no one real answer. they all work to an extent, and they all have their flaws; its up to the aspiring "PUA" to take what works for him and his personality, mold it to his standards and apply it in his own way.

I hate generalizations, and saying that the entire PUA community is bad because one idiot did a dumb thing is the same your common stereotypes of racial and ethnic groups. Yes, there are basement dwelling weirdos who treat women like a door mat, just as there are women who like to be treated that way.

I believe each person has a reason why they start this PUA thing; some have better reasons then others, and in the end it up to them to find a way to benefit from the experience and knowledge. There are many benefits for this, many that go far beyond women and sex, and for me that's where the true benefit lays.

People shot, and will shoot others, regardless of what they do and who they are; if he indeed deliberately and without just provocation shot another person, then let him rot in jail. This should not have any affect on those who are here to truly learn and evolve. Some of us refuse to stay mediocre and are always improving and learning. This is the true point of this whole thing.

Doesn't matter, from a self defense standpoint even if he has a gun license, he can ONLY use it when being attacked and the force needed to be justifiable. I don't see ANY Judge justifying his attack on the woman like this. And if he in fact mentioned that he lived in a bad neighborhood, he made more then enough money from his "guru" sales to move into a better part of town. I think overall the guy is a fraud, just like majority of the GURUS.

I've been reading around Sosuave for awhile and just decided to join this month. One of the things that really made this site "weird" was the over supply of theories, psychologies, etc, made by posters on here that rarely posted pics, field reports, or ANY practical experience with a girl in the field. Guys like Pook, Rollo, Senior Fingers, etc., I have NEVER seen a pic or a field report from these guys, yet, because they WRITE GOOD, they are labeled as credible sources to lead a guy's dating/social life. MAKES NO SENSE.

In the business community forums that I'm apart of, the community would not even accept you as a credible poster UNLESS you posted in your signature WHO YOU WERE (so we could look you up and see if you were really in business, successful, etc.). Anybody can post a damn theory and present it well, ANYBODY. I would be more willing to bet my money that a guy posting numerous field reports, even if he's struggling with the girl in the report, is MORE of a credible source on learning about women then ANY damn "guru" you can find.

Sometimes when I'm reading a guru's theory, it just compares to a guy that only has business school degrees and little-to-no field experience, trying to teach me how business works.

Agree 100% on that. Especially the pic part. I have posted many pics of my present gf, and a few past ones, and almost everytime, I am berated by guys for doing so. I have never understood it. Either these guys don't have any pics of people they are dating to show, or they are embarrased by the ones they are dating. Or I always hear "how can you show a pic of your gf on the internet, how dare you show no respect". Uh yeah. Most girls have 10 million pics of themselves plastered on the internet on various sites, and if I thought my gf would mind I wouldnt do it...trust me it is not that big a deal. I have even wanted to start a thread where guys post pics of girls they are seeing/dating/fvcking, and that was shot down too.
