Brad pitt looked weak and pathetic in that movie. He looked better in Troy. And I agree with you wolf...i've seen this thread before. You people need to idolize better athletes bodies than that joke of one Brad Pitt had in that movie. Just cut like 40lbs and you'll look like him...a weak runt.

I think you should dump the workout I gave you and go with the workout in there. While you are at it make sure to add in 5x35 on bi curl's.

Also, LOTS of carbs, especially high GI, they are the best kind. The rush you feel when you get that insulin spike well send your metabolism through the roof...

Why is everyone after the B.P. body?
Jason Statham from The Transporter is a much better role-model, IMO. (didn't find a good picture)

Yeah like Itallion Stallion said don't aspire to have Brad Pitt's Fight Club body because he was built way way way better in the movie Troy.

You have a point. It's just that "having a brad Pitt Body" is not a real goal at all. He has low body fat and a little bit of muscle. This is so easy to achieve, there are tens of millions of guys who would look like him if they didn't drink that one beer after dinner. A goal doesn't have to be unreachable; but it should be a challenge, something that you have work hard for and can be proud of.

Well regardless the workout is retarded IMO. Weighing 150 lbs? you've got to be kidding me. The only reason he gets chicks is cause he's brad Pitt...not cause his body is amazing. He looks like he friggin starved himself. 180 lbs and above would look a hella a lot better and not so damn skinny. Its not really a muscle gaining diet when your trying to get down to 6% body fat. You'd prob regret because going up in weight is very difficult at times. Not worth the muscle and strength loss.

So why is it then that if you look at people's pics on internet forums who bodybuild, the vast vast majority of them look way worse than Brad Pitt despite gymming for 2 years+? I personally think he looked good in Fight Club, very lean with some muscle, a respectable physique.

This is just BS, there are loads of people who want to look something like Brad Pitt but yet hardly anyone actually has a physique like he does. No point sitting on a high horse criticizing people when you don't look better. It would be easy for me to say Pitt is a joke compared to Levrone etc. but I am no Levrone either so either have the body and then criticize, or don't. There are a lot of theorists on the web saying it's easy to get this body and that body but if hardly anyone actually has it then it's just big talk.

if you read the article linked to closely, you'll realize it has nothing to do with the workout and everything to do with diet. it's a cliche but true, a sixpack is built in the kitchen.

didn't WBA finally get fed up and post a how to look like brad pitt in fight club thread? it's all about dedication to cardio & diet. you could do almost anything in the weight room and get there.

Brad is 5'11. 150-155 lbs at that height is unhealthy.

Staying at the 5-6% he had maintained for Fight Club would not have been healthy. He cut to get the 'Fight Club Look' that was required for such a film. After the film, he relaxed his cardio and strict diet to ease himself into a more normal and manageable physique.
I don't want to be that lean. Right now I'm at 16% and I'd like to get down to 10%.

It's all about diet and cardio. How much of it, I have no idea.

Is it ****. That is around average for someone of that height, maybe slightly under.

I am not looking better at the moment, because I try to get a ****ing master's degree and don't have months of preparation time for a damn movie. But I guess I am near him in terms of body fat and muscle mass. That is because I have no time to eat enough and train only once a week ;)

B.P. is no joke. His fight club body is one of a hunter/gatherer IMO. Look at pictures of some african tribes. It's the natural male look. So how hard can it be to look like you are supposed to? It's just that we westerners ****ed up with all the comfort and unhealthy food our civilisation gave us.

Anyway, the "loads" of people who don't look like him but wanting to are regular people without any real will power. They like to party and booze, they eat big dinners with their friends. Of course it's hard to get to 6% then. But take the dedication of any halfway serious body builder. It would be like a vacation for him to get the B.P. body - he'd just interchange weight training for cardio and eat like a human being instead of godzilla for the first time. The thing is, no one of them would like that body. Once you start BB, you just wouldn't be content with such a physique.

If you have the willpower most people lack and some time on your hands, you can get B.P.'s body in a few months (if you don't have ****ed up genetics/gross overweight/wrong height). But the moment you achieve it, you will probably want something different. So for many of the experienced guys here it's not a real "goal", fitness wise.

BTW the "workout" I just read in the OP's link IS a joke.

okay...first of all you can't prove your first point.

Secondly, My friend has the BP look, and i have fifty lbs on me more. Guess who gets all the girls attention when we are together. And guess who gets called "skinny"...and let me tell you he hates it.

If i cut 50lbs i'd look like him too. (prob better IMO  ) And if your in okay shape, you can get that body in less than a year. But what most people lack is DEDICATION and the know how to get that body. Majority of people i meet all have these goals for their body...but they never achieve it because they have no idea what they are doing.

I completely agree with ThreeStorms

On one end of the spectrum, you can look like brad pit, on the other you can look like a gorilla and have 0 athletic merit. That said, I'd rather have a physique like Brad Pitt. Being into endurance sports, one tends to naturally look more like that than a muscle head.

The workout from that link seemed rather easy. 5 pullups isn't enough to even get warmed up. My guess is there was more to his workout than what was listed.
