I actually do hope some cataclysmic event would happen so that maybe Tesla stock prices will drop and I can buy in at deep discount.....

..... I missed out when TSLA was at $380 a few months ago.... TSLA is now at $2,155........ The FOMO is hitting me hard.......

That doesn't sound selfish at all lol.
I wonder if there was a T-Rex at some point thinking "I hope that meteor hits because I think that mammal stock is going to go up".

Sheet! I told everyone I know when it was $75 a share to buy as much as you can afford. I still never learn to take my own advice, otherwise I'd be retired.

They say it's the size of a small pickup, but are these the same scientists who said we didn't need masks, but then later decided we did?
The easy answer to the above question is: "No". Unless you think that NASA researchers are the same people in charge of giving out Public Health Policy Recommendations. And I truly hope that you are aware enough to not believe that fallacy.

They say it's the size of a small pickup, but are these the same scientists who said we didn't need masks, but then later decided we did? And said that it was spread mostly from surfaces but then later decided it was spread mostly person to person? Who said fat in diets were making people fat but later decided it was carbohydrates? Scientists aren't always as smart as we think they are, and they can only act on the best information they have at the time. "Hey, that asteroid is the size of a small truck", until it isn't. I think the effect also depends to some extent on what it's made of.
Scientists aren't God's.

To make proper calculations, they do need solid facts.

And even with the best of manufacturering machines, with the best materials, with the best engineers, with the best employees, the yield would never be 100%, most likely up to 97%.

It's a probability, with a higher chance of being right.

As for covid, its something new, facts abt it is slowly being discovered and these takes time.

As for the asteroid, its only 6 feet in length, it is too small to withstand friction and make an impact on earth.

Do not trust scientists. Make them prove it through a full spectrum of scrutiny. If we fully believed scientists, New York should be underwater by now due to the polar caps melting. It’s completely garbage science.
Care to define "full spectrum of scrutiny"?

If we fully believed scientists, New York should be underwater by now due to the polar caps melting. It’s completely garbage science.
Love how when a scientific theory is disproved through the introduction of new evidence, it's reason not to trust science. When a mystic is proven wrong when the doomsday-prediction-du-jour doesn't pan out, it's "well, let's hear the next prediction!"

I'm pretty sure I wasn't speaking that literally.
Wait, wasn't Dr. Fauci in charge of the Apollo 11 mission?

Perhaps not. Where’s you solution? Have one or just playing authorative?
You proposed a solution without defined terms, I was just asking for clarification.

As for what I'm playing... a layman, who understands that expertise is real, and that I would not presume to possess the skill set to out-wit a PhD with a pithy four-word refinement to their methodologies

There's still time to repent for individuals and even nations. I don't mean the idea that repenting is turning from sin either. That's a false teaching which is taught far and wide.

Repentance is that thing when you come before God and see yourself as you are, and see Him as he is, and say with Isaiah 'Woe is me, for I am unclean!'

That is repentance. Realizing you need Jesus as a savior to save you because your unclean. Your a sinner that needs a savior. You have all these unbelivers/deceivers running around telling everyone you need to stop sinning or be willing to stop. That is not repenting when you do that.

You also have songs from JayZ where he raps/sings that Jesus can't save him. He might think you gotta be good (not stealing, not lieing, not banging the pornstar) to get to heaven. Or perhaps he's deceiving the common folk with his lyrics that they can't be saved because they gotta do good works to get to heaven. Folks the only thing that makes you good is believing Jesus died for your sins. Yes demons believe and tremble but they don't believe Jesus died for their sins they just believe there is a God named Jesus Christ who died for the sins of mankind.

Time to repent guys and girls and before America can be blessed again it's gotta repent.

September 1st. So far there is still civil unrest in the USA. At the risk of this thread turning into some BLM/race hijack, I will just say, that this has a potential of getting very ugly. The triggering event occurred last month, technically speaking, but is still a new issue. We will see if this escalates into an all out civil war, or if some new issue materializes this month. I'd say, it sounds like 60% chance whatever the original video prophecies are about are probably referring to this civil unrest leading to the election month.

Here in Canada, people are nervous about a second-wave of this covid19 thing.

There's no question the civil unrest is going to continue at least up until the election. After that, it may settle down, at least to some extent.
Or it may not. But at least there won't be as much continued political incentive to keep stirring the pot.

Some people in church remind me of Cornelius in the bible who feared God but was unsaved until he met Peter and heard the gospel. Some in church are probably saved as well. You can't be saved because you forsake a sinful lifestyle. Your saved because of what Jesus Christ did for you on the cross dying for your sins. We are not saved by trying we are saved by trusting. Cornelius was trying until he got saved and started trusting. The thief next to Jesus on the cross was trusting. Lot was trusting. David was trusting.

and Uriah was trusting...
Yes. And David was ensnared by the devil and due to lust slept in adultery with Bathsheba then having fear of facing Uriah, David deliberately sent Uriah into the most dangerous place in the battle where men were guaranteed to be killed. Uriah was killed. 2nd Samuel 11:17. Lust tempted king David to commit adultery, and then fear tempted David to commit murder and he committed both. People then threw rocks at David in disgust of his sin. People lost respect for him even his own children and he was driven from his own kingdom by his son Absalom.

What you are talking about sounds like Easy Believism and is not scriptural because of Matt 7:23 and Gal 5:19-21 refute this. I've seen some of the other posts you've made and I'd caution you to read Gal 5:19-21 very carefully, and also Matt 5:28. I struggle with these issues in my faith-walk as well, so do many others (ie "lusting").

Cornelius - Acts 10:31 - His Alms (good deeds towards the poor), and prayers have been heard -- this is before he was saved. It may not have affected his direct salvation, but it was part of the journey leading to his salvation (ie Peter ministering to him). To the extent his Alms and prayers influenced God to send Peter his way to minister to him leading him to salvation, would be the extent that would be relevant enough to be mentioned in scripture. At least the idea here is that good people do not go to hell because God will notice them and send someone their way to minister salvation to them, and they will be saved. However, insincere people who say a sinner's prayer, or are looking for fire-insurance but want to live as they please and have one foot in the church and one foot in the world, have to beware. God looks at the heart. An example of an insincere conversion would be Simon the Sorcerer in Acts 8:17-24.

You must include verse 21 in Matthew 7

“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

What is “the will of the Father”? The answer is found in John 6:40..

“And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.”

The group in Matthew 7:21-23 were unsaved because they refused to do God's will concerning salvation. It wasn't because they still had personal sins in their life. Every believer still has sin in their life! We all sin every day. That's not to say that we have God's approval to sin, God forbid (Romans 3:31). It just means that even the best of Christians are still sinners.

If you think that forsaking sins was necessary for you to be saved, then you have religion, but you have never been born again!
