Im diagnosed as bi-polar. I have my highs where I feel great and I can get the girl all excised then I get my lows where I feel tired, then I can be right in the middle. Is there anyway I can use being bi-polar to my advantage?

Not really, unless you want to atract crazy women. The way I try to deal with stuff like that is, when I´m feeling low I avoid socializing, try to turn it into me time as much as I can, use the time improve myself and "recharge" myself.

It´s really confusing to ppl when they see you one day and you´re the most social and fun person ever, and then the other day it´s like you are another person. So now I try to avoid putting myself in those situations.

I woud never want to be bipolar, but I've sometimes envied their manic phases. Seems like a great chance to get things done and have high energy, as long as you don't get all psychotic while you're at it, like some do.

I thought BPD was just some myth made up by woman as an excuse for their actions when they're being a b!tch?

I'm bi-polar as well, and it hasn't really worked to my advantage. For girls who aren't crazy, they actually get turned off because you can be nice one second and cuss em out the next. And scars, BPD is Borderline Personality Disorder, not Bi-polar.

Why don't you fix yourself before you put a poor girl through your mood swings.

Your advantage is that you got diagnosed and hopefully are dealing with it well.

Falcon, being bi-polar isn't something you can "fix". You can go to counseling and take meds but its not going to just go away like its the flu.

And, as Crissco's response shows to say that is very offensive to those that suffer from bi-polar disorder. Same goes for people with clinical depression and anxiety disorders. Its akin to telling people to "fix" their diabetes.

I'd suggest in the future you take some time to learn about someone's disorder before suggesting they simply fix it.

Crissco, minus the manic highs I know it is. I suffer from depression and social anxiety disorder. I understand how bad those lows can be. If you have any interests in art, writing or any other ways of expressing yourself, try to do that when in your lows. I find some of my best photographs and writings come out when I'm down. Its also therapeutic.

Awesome! Weight lifting is great way to let the anger and the aggression out on the down days. Just have to find a way to be motivated enough to get up and going, unless you have no problem with that. I know some days it can be hard enough just to get out of bed.

Did you just have another episode??? Calm down, no woman will want to stay with you if you can't control your disease. Take your meds, relax, hit the gym, and then worry about dating.

Just because you're happy one day and depressed the other doesn't make you bi-polar. It just means you're probably depressed and too sensitive.

I'm sort of like that too but ive been improving. Get out and become more social, do things that you enjoy so everyday when you wake up, you have something to look forward to.
