I'm with Crissco, I've been diagnosed as bi-polar as well, and I also suffer from social anxiety. I definitely see a difference in my highs and lows compared to other people. When I'm depressed, I'm incredibly depressed to the point where i want to kill everyone. It can be because of the littlest thing that just frustrates the hell out of me. But then when I'm happy, I'm happy about everything and treat everyone like they are kings and queens. I can understand why it's off-putting to some people lol.

I'd recommend getting mood stabilizers or Lithium supplements. Yes, they're pills and I know a great many people on this site are against taking medication to solve problems but in this case Bi-Polar Disorder is caused by a chemical imbalance (usually a Lithium deficiency) in the brain and the only way to fix it is to balance things out with meds.

Umm, being around a bipolar person, especially being in a relationship with them, is miserable without them being on lithium or some kind of medication for it.
