We get chit chatting for only about 1 minute when I someone grabs my shoulder and says "Hey mate, that's my girl your trying to chat up and you better back off now before things get messed up for you"

"Take it easy bro, didn't know that was your GF"

"Well she is, now get back to what you were doing, girls come to the gym to excercise not to get chatted up by some strange dude like yourself"

A few heads were turning already so I ejected myself and went straight back to the rest of my workout feeling like a bit of a goofball. A lil' pissed off about this, my first gym approach and this sh!t happens, kinda put me off gym approaches for a bit. It's a shame, so many fine babes there. So yeah, point of the story... that's right, watch your asses.

This is exactly why I go to the gym early in the morning (mine open's at 5am), because the people there are serious about their workout. No one is pissing around on machines, no one is being hit on; everyone is there to do a workout and get out.

From talking to the staff I am told the night crowd is different, the women will come to the gym "ready to sweat"... with makeup on. Please, if they are coming with makeup then they are not coming to workout.
