Some info:

6'4" 337 pounds
Ive was lifting and trying to lose the fat before my ankle broke playing football.

I will be doing a keto diet, and also using FitDay to track what im eating, 30g carb limit

All workouts are 3 sets 5 reps (it was supposed to be 6 reps but I messed up, no big deal though)

Bench Press - 160lbs

Bent over row -135lbs (form is all over the place with this, will transition to dumbbell rows on a bench)

Bent over rope tricep extension - 57.5lbs (http://www.criticalbench.com/exercises/pics/overhead-cable-extension1.jpg)

Ab work - 3x10

Yeah thats pretty much where im starting right now, props to Quag for the exercises and everyone who helped in my previous thread :cool:

Good to see your Journal on here, make sure to post your diet up here everyday and take one a pic a week (sametime,place, lighting) as well as weigh yourself once a week at the same time. Post the results here this will help us figure out what tweaks we need to make to diet/cardio.

Looks good. Don't sweat 5 reps, do that if you want.

You'll be under 300 in no time if you are consistent, good luck.

Thanks guys, also what are the side effects of low carb? Ive heard about headaches, bad breathe, etc.

Question: for my weight, is 2500 calories enough or is that considered under eating?

Hey guys, would I shift out of ketosis if I were to eat more than a few grams of carbs per meal? I had dressing with a chicken salad this morning and total came out to 21g of carbs, I heard somewhere this would take my body out of keto?

Any cardio? At least throw 10 - 15min in a day if you're trying to lose some weight bro.

Got the "you look skinnier" and "did you lose weight?" comments today, nice boost of confidence there, ive only been on the diet for a few days, are the results showing that quickly? Anyhow, I just wanted to bump this post because I will be updating it with my workout tonight

MY diet isnt working at school

When I was on break i was eating REALLY well, once school started, I dont eat for 8 hours, and im getting nowhere.

Im buying protein powder for breakfast b/c I cant really eat in the morning, idk, I dont want to give up, and I wont, but school is a big problem right now

Dont get discouraged...only bad things can happen if you think negative. You will just have to find a way.

Try getting a big lunch box and carry it with you all day. Here is one that you can easily put a whole days worth of food into.

If you dont want to lug it around, do you have a Prof that you know well? Or maybe a department secretary in the dept that you major in? If so, you can ask to use the faculty lounge (I assume they have one).They will probably have a microwave too.

If you cant do this, there must be a microwave somewhere on campus. Get a locker in the gym, keep your food in a cooler and your good to go.

There is more than one way to skin a cat man, but it may be very inconvenient no matter how you do it. But if you are serious you will put in that extra bit of effort and do it. Good luck, and dont start looking for excuses because then it will be too easy to give up. Cheers!
