Re: Ronin: Future Ex-Wife?

Ok, i like the idea of introducing her as your future ex wife... but exactly where do you take that?
I have images of her say "what the hell?" and then asking you what that means?! In the mean time the person you are introducing her to has in his/her mind that you have a few screws up in your head loose.
Please exand on this Ronin! because its sounds like money

OK I'll use the future ex-wife line in two separate circumstances -
1) If I've just met a girl at a bar/club and I've been chatting with her for awhile, getting good vibes, busting on her, building rapport, etc - and then if one of my buddies comes along I'll introduce the girl, and say "This is my buddy *Buddy'sName*, this is my future ex-wife, *HBjustmet*."
Again, usually I'll have built good rapport at this point and it's obvious that I'm joking around. Also I usually throw in a good mix of C&F and compliments beforehand -
OR
2) This scenario is where it's really useful. The last time I actually threw this line down I was out on a second or third date with a girl (can't remember). I ran into somebody that I kind of know from school. Just an acquaintance - we don't really know each other that well. Anyway he came over to say hello and then addressed her by saying, "Oh are you Ronin's wife, ...girlfriend?"
Now immediately I put my arm around her and said "This is my future ex-wife *HBNotAFriendNorAcquaintance*." This girl and I are obviously not at the G/F, B/F stage but I didn't wanted to introduce her as my "friend" so it was the perfect time for this.
I get multiple reactions from this when I say it. Usually smiles (sometimes combined with a confused look). With this one girl I got the
face and a punch in the arm. I was like"Ouch. what was that for?" and she said something like "You would never divorce me." OR "I wouldn't let you divorce me" -something like that.
As for what it means - I don't know - how about "my charms are irrisitable and you are going to fall madly in love with me. We'll have whirlwind romance and we'll marry but I will get bored of you and have to end it".
It's all in the delivery.
