As we get older, are big cities the only place of refuge for DJs and playboys?

Over the years I have realized that the playboy lifestyle of sleeping around with a ton of different women, partying, and bragging about that sort of stuff only becomes acceptable in big cities after the age of say 25. It seems like while so many people are completely fine with a high school or college kid sleeping around, having a lot of sex, and being a manwh0re; there comes an age where that sort of behavior is looked down upon.

I have found that unless you move to a major city like NYC, LA, or Chicago; so many people see it as a norm to get into LTRs when you are in your late 20s and start considering things like marriage and kids.

For a lot of us DJs on here, we would like to keep the party going well past the age of 30 and so suave legend @bigneil serves as a role model for some of us who want to live this lifestyle as we get older.

Then there is an issue as well, NYC and LA are unbelievably expensive unless you want to live in the sketchy parts of those cities. You are paying a ton of money for a high cost of living so you can enjoy the playboy lifestyle while in some cheap no good backwater town, you would have the religious nut jobs coming after you for not being married with kids after the age of 25.

You will be a huge social misfit if you are still chasing women, partying, and sleeping around after the age of 30 in even a small sized city as opposed to a major city like NYC where you will have company.

What is your take on it?

I am sure the Europeans are more laid back about this sort of stuff but most of the USA cannot seem to run from its puritan roots.

In my opinion the core mindset of the DJ lifestyle means not giving a fvuck what others think.

I'm free to live where and how I want. Those who don't agree or approve? FVUCK EM.
Precisely , as a man you lay your own path, at this day and age it is less usual, what makes it even better.
Live your life the way you want.

The big cities tend to be easier because the emphasis of wealth and power creates a lot of social climbers so as an older man it is much easier to use wealth and power to your advantage. The downside is that many women are users so the chances of finding a woman who is interested in you and not your status is diminished greatly.

As you mentioned religious zealotry is big shaming mechanism in smaller communities.

The best you can do is show good christian values in public be friendly to all and leave your debauchery in your private life.

If you want to talk, talk to your friends. If you want a girl to like you, listen to her, ask questions, and act like you are on the edge of your seat.

A medium size town may not be the best place for an open playboy life style but if you play your cards right you can have a decent amount of fvck buddies who needs to stay under the radar as much as you.

Your life will be less expensive and less stressful yet a decent amount of sexual novelty could be taken with some skills, plus your shield is that women fear shaming much more than you do.

Alot of people from Suburban and ''village'' have a hard time in the cities...why?

Because in the cities... you are a no body.... Unless you have a strong reputation, wealth, power, richness, social engagement... you'll be just 1 fish in the pound.... heck even being in the top 1% you can be just a fish

So, OP is right on 1 thing.... If you want to build a life without ''society judgement'' ... cities is great... it's somewhere you can go and blend it.

In my city, I am well known... in the case... everywhere I go, I know someone... but I remain a fish among the pound... whatever I do, I have control and no judgement will be done (in my private life)

The important part is 1) Be where you feel good 2) Act like you want to act 3) Keep everything sexual.... private....
These rules also apply in the city.
Note: Alot of people I know return to the sururban life or village life, because they feel the city is overwhelming (fast track action, being unknown, etc...)

So if you had social value in the suburban... prepare yourself to start back at square 1 and be a nobody.

Cities wont make it easier... what makes it : easier is your actions in the your context.

Says who? Looked down upon by who? Unless you live in some small puritan town it shouldn't matter. Even if you did live in said town it still shouldn't matter. How will people know you live this lifestyle. Are you screaming it from rooftops?

Contrary to what Sosuave and the manosphere bubble will have you believe, the belief is the same everywhere. Not exclusive to non major cities. This is because women realize they are reaching the wall and men realize they are getting too old to fit into crowds with college grad aged folk.

For a lot of us DJs on here, we would like to keep the party going well past the age of 30
You can and you don't need to be in a major city to do it. Like another poster mentioned its not so much about the city as it is your status. Are you popular? Wealthy? Connected? The key to this lifestyle lies in your lifestyle not where you live.

and so suave legend @bigneil serves as a role model for some of us who want to live this lifestyle as we get older.
Lol. Wut?

How old are you? This doesn't sound like the post of an older experienced man. America is large. Los Angeles & New York are not the only major cities in America. Also, are you aware that simply living there doesn't grant you access to the playboy lifestyle, especially if you're pushing 30. Do you know anyone in these places? Do you offer some sort of value? I don't understand why people think that if they just up and move to these places they'll live what they see on TV.

in some cheap no good backwater town, you would have the religious nut jobs coming after you for not married with kids after the age of 25.
Wut? Maybe in 2005 dude. The world doesn't work like this anymore. Your options aren't NY & LA or backwater hicktown anyways.

This is not true. Less people are getting married. Less people are having children. People are testing the dating market well into their late 30s & 40s. It sounds like your assuption isn't really based in anything. Long gone are the highly catholic puritan days of traditionalism.

I am sure the Europeans are more laid back about this sort of stuff but most of the USA cannot seem to run from its puritan roots.
You must've had a really bad experince in some tiny town in Texas to still believe this. Polling shows the contrary.

Except you have to worry about how many hot girls there are available to phuck, how tough it would be for you to even get them when nosy neighbors and townies are in your business, how much hot girls actually care about what others think of them, and how often they will screw losers over winners because of that very thing.

Go on not giving a fvuck about what others think, just don't be surprised when you are beating off on a Saturday night while the guy who paid some mind to this is having a threeway with models in NYC because he actually built the kind of life for it.

Well I'm here to tell you there is such a magic wand. Something that will make you almost completely irresistible to any woman you "point it" at. Something guaranteed to fill your life with love, romance, and excitement.

Except in a small city you guys don't get it, you won't have any luck breaking into the social circles and being well connected if you are moving there at 25. Everyone there is going to be tight through high school cliques and not care to welcome in some outsider sooooo.

agreed, the woman around this area go for other locals which are total lowlife druggies, aside from that all the women are single mom self centered druggies themselves.
