They went to war to rape and pillage. It's no secret that men used to be some violent specimen back then. I doubt most men can kill a baby these days, but they sure did it before the 90s. Boredom causes men to be easily brainwashed.
It's now 2024, domestic abuse and other crimes caused by men are declining all over the world. We live in the most peaceful times ever and it's gonna get even more peaceful in the future. Why is that? Because men are satiating their desire for raping and pillaging virtually instead of doing it in the real world. Most video games don't allow you to rape but they sure allow you to be violent. And no man can deny that we're some violent demons by nature.
Men invented video games because it was necessary in order to preserve the world. Without video games, we'd probably be nuking each other's countries right now.
I believe that people crying about video game addiction are pathetic because you only spent all day playing video games. It's not like you're out robbing people or selling drugs because there are people doing that while you're busy leveling up your virtual waifu. So relax. Sure, you could be doing something productive instead but there's no pressure. Maybe start being more productive slowly, say for 15 mins everyday. No need to beat yourself up when your ancestors were literally criminals. To be fair, video games can be considered productive as well because they improve cognition and reflexes.
