Just imagine how many men got stds from women and then say again how unhealthy computergames are.

Let alone the millions of men that offed themselves due to influx of women.

Well like everything things are good in moderation.

Playing games is actually good for your brain and even entrepreneurs like Elon Musk is gaming about 40-60 minutes a day playing and streaming Diablo for example. It improves your, focus, eye sight, reaction time among things.

Here is some examples:

I never was a gamer.

I'd say video games are an unhealthy habit. An increasing amount of 30+ year old men will spend their whole weekend playing video games. There's no way you can tell me that's healthy.

Drinking 2 gallons of water a day is also unhealthy. Does that mean everyone drinking water is an idiot?

Every alcoholic drank water, once upon a time. Water is just a stepping stone...

Yeah, so is kissing. It starts with one harmless kiss and before you can warn them, people end up fvcking and catching HIV.
Kissing needs to be banned too! Its DANGEROUS!

It starts with holding hands...

Not necessarily an idiot.

Nor does video game addiction make you an idiot. Video game addiction (past a certain age) is simply pathetic.

I urge any video game naysayers to check out Stalker 2. Hell, if you have a high end PC it's worth a buy, especially considering the devs are Ukranian, i'm sure they could use the help.

For an open-world game with light RPG elements, it's not that long nor does it have those cancerous "grinding" mechanics. The world and its environment is brimming with SOUL instead of the typical plastic, pointless, uncaring environments with nothing interesting to see or do except filler. The game world feels like a REAL, lived in environment with a sense of purpose.

Looks like it only takes about 30 hours to beat the main story, or 60 for a full completionist run. You cannot possibly tell me anyone can't spare 5-10 hrs a week to play a game like this and beat it in a month or two. Get the hell out of here.

I truly believe games like Stalker, Dishonored, Deus Ex, Bioshock, etc are in fact art and their stories and world building rival some of the best films and books. The fantastic Russian novel "Roadside Picnic" from 1970s was turned into a film "Stalker" that same decade, then decades later the Stalker games were based off both of these. If someone tries to tell me it's as much of a waste of time to play this game as it is to read the book, you're an absolute clown. These games are art and if anyone disagrees with me, they're wrong.

It's pretty pathetic for any age, and it tires me that the word "gamer" is associated with toxic, cancerous PVP games like Call of Duty or LoL, or mind numbing "forever games" like Minecraft.

The best games the single player games with polish and soul, worldbuilding lore, interesting characters, beautiful aesthetics, with a fixed length of maybe 5-30 hrs or so. These games are basically impossible to get "addicted" to. But these are never the types of games people associate with a "gamer" sadly, instead it's been associated with hyper autistic Minecraft or LoL gamers who sicken me.

Well I'm here to tell you there is such a magic wand. Something that will make you almost completely irresistible to any woman you "point it" at. Something guaranteed to fill your life with love, romance, and excitement.

The problem is not video games, the problem is the fat, unattractive, man child, beta who is playing video games. If you remove video games, the same guy remains, so no, video games are not the problem.

I believe that he might have encountered such people that he retaliated by saying that he prefers to play video games and would neglect meeting people. We should respect it as we don't know who he came across in his life.

I don't see anything bad in good video games that doesn't have negative effects and isn't in excess in human life. I found more friends with whom I played practically every day and communicated.

Otherwise when we still have harder levels and we get angry, we use StealthCore Apex Hack to get over it

Men frequently err by talking too much. They often monopolize conversations, droning on and on about topics that bore women to tears. They think they're impressing the women when, in reality, they're depressing the women.

Exactly! We can even make some friends who are far better than those who are physically there with us. Thus, I also prefer to spend more time on video games than spending it with the two-faced people.

I had tendency to play a lot of video games through my childhood, teens, mature life - these were mostly strategic games where I was building empires or fighting battles, I used to play them a lot, mostly on some higher difficulty levels (usually called at least "hard", "masochistic" etc.) because standard experience was boring to me.

I also played cRPGs (as substitute of reading adventure books) and some FPS (both more interesting from the story point of view like Vietcong or CoD but also some dopamine-overloaders like Unreal Tournament).

I think I spent in total thousands of hours in all of them. They were also partially connected with my overall interest in history, fantasy and s-f.

The prO of that was that I think they actually stimulated my brain development. I would say that top-diff strategic games help you to understand managing things like long-term economic or legal risks in business better than many books on the subject.

I also notice how they trained my focus and calmness in fast-paced situations (like driving a car at high speed on rather crowded road)

The cons however...I think there are in overall more cons than pros once you are past 16 or 17 years of life.

I got addicted to dopamine surges I got from them when I was about 21, somewhere at that time I got addicted to porn, binge-played many nights, had sleep-issues, even if my brain was trained to go through complex tasks quickly (I went through some exams ppl studied on my univ for a several months after 3-10 days of studying - I could super-focus but only for short period of time, eventually I was playing so much and got attention deficit eventually, which I never really overcame - this led to eventually studying longer than I should due to failing two years on my univ because I was doing everything else I could instead of studying). However this was connected to some other issues (including financial problems when I was student, low self esteem, poor experiences with women at that time)

Therefore I think they are mostly coping mechanism for mature guys - less destructive than alcohol or cigs, but still damaging to significant extent (this addiction mostly steals your time - it is better to play board games IRL instead of playing video games alone). I want to stop playing them indefinitely (aside of mobile-app supported board games which is something else, they are much less addictive when it comes to dopamine release).

The only thing bad about the video games is that they are addicting. I still remember that in earlier days, when I had my vacations, I used to spend more than 6 to 7 hours everyday playing video games, and it eventually gave me glasses.

Everything you over-do will become a problem eventually. Even healthy things like jogging in the park. So, of course, playing games excessively can be problematic. Exhibiting self control can help; give yourself a time limit and get away from the computer. Realise that you need to moderate yourself, because nobody else will until you've become an addict.
