Helen of Troy agrees as she started a war between countries.
So does Cleopatra who manipulated Roman leaders with her beauty to bring great wealth to Egypt.
History is fraught with many such stories.
As for Ghengis Khan, while he was away fighting and conquering for years at a time, who do you think ran the Empire while he was gone? His Wife, Börte, that's who.
From fighting in the army to managing the kingdom, women were key players in every aspect of the Mongol Empire.

If you think women ran things, I don't know what to tell you. They were sexual objects. Their job was to be prizes that great men get to have sex with. However, at the end of the day, it was about power. It was about controlling people. Ruling people. Do you think Borte controlled how many sexual partners Ghengis Khan had? Or do you think Cleopatra dictated who and when those Roman leaders were able to ravish and have sex with? hell no, women couldn't even vote at the time. How about Helen of Troy? Did she dictate who can "have her"? No, it was the winners. She didn't have a choice. Women were sex objects and that was it. In the past, there wasn't room for error. Error meant death. For women, not finding winners meant not having resources, starvation, shivering in the cold and dying of hypothermia; or getting murdered.
Men conquered. Women had sex with the winners; or they were forced to have sex with the winners and then burned at the stake. They had a choice. However, evolution dictated that women who did not die, reproduced so ultimately, as time progressed, a lot of women grew to love the "dark triad".
Don't believe in the feminist bullcrud. "Woman who ran the mongol empire". What a piece of garbage. IIRC, during ghenis time, if you wanted to get a wife, you had to raid the neighboring tribe and steal a bride. That was the custom. Ghengis did that and stole borte.. He was about to consumate the marriage, but then another tribe stole Borte away from Ghengis. However, at this time Temujin wasn't Ghengis yet. He was just another nomand. It wasn't until a week or two later, Ghengis was able to steal back borte. However, a lot of people said that Borte already had sex with her kidnappers. This was the way of Ghengis time. "Woman who ran the mongol empire". Spare me the feminist propaganda. Now did Borte help Ghengis? Yes, but at the end of the day, there was only one Ghengis Khan. His empire was run using a meritocracy. Something that was new in the area. In the past it was based on clans, lineage, who's parents you had, etc.. Ghengis empire was a meritocracy. He didn't care about your religion, your clan, or your race. You had to produce. Yes, there were women helping run Ghengis empire, but it was 99.9% men.. or more. Women were basically a rounding error. Women had kids - they couldn't help with the empire. Tampons weren't invented yet, so a good portion of a month, they were bleeding; most jobs were tough manual labor -- women were weak and effective tools weren't invented yet. Building roads -- men. Building shelter -- men; raising animals -- men, etc... etc...
Ghengis would have succeed anyways. Yeah, I read a lot about Ghengis. Borte was with him when he was just another starving nomad. Ghengis had a soft spot for her, because she was not waiting at the finish line. While he was having intercourse, with hundreds and thousands of other beautiful women, Borte was still his main squeeze and she helped him produce a lot of gifted sons that help him rule his empire. She could of went away with the raiding party that stole her away from Ghengis, but she didn't. She was there from the very beginning of Temujin's life... later to become Ghengis..
