What about 9/11. was it really the terrorists or was it engineered by the government?
It was terrorists. We've been through this a billion times before.

This article is full of holes. First off, "I've been to the hospitals and they are better"...okay, what was the author in the hospital for? Any doctor can treat a sniffle or a rash with a scrip and a 2 week follow-up. Did the author ever have anything SERIOUS happen to him? (heart attack, broken bones) Or any chronic condition? (cancer, etc) How was treatment THEN??
What's wrong with genetically enhanced meat? If scientists d!ck around with a few genes so my steak is more tender and contains more protein, what's the big deal? And as for HFCS...Barack Obama doesn't tell you what to put in your mouth. That's a personal and cultural decision. It's not Congress's fault that the OP was a poor-diet fatass when he was here.
As for the politics, the only person I have seen bash Fox News more than that while ignoring the rest of the scam-media (CNN, MSNBC, etc) is Seth MacFarlane.
Europe more free?? Where you have to be 21 and have a permit to buy a kitchen-knife? Where they put up speed cameras on every corner and talk about putting GPS in your car so they can auto-fine you whenever you exceed the limit? Or maybe we should go to Australia, where they ALREADY have "auto-marriage" for cohabitating couples.
Maybe you haven't read about the state of European economies...they've been running this socialist crap for a while now, and they're all running out of money and have been having to implement austerity programs and cut back spending DRASTICALLY to avoid folding. The US economy is overdrawn, all right. But maybe you didn't catch what happened in Greece.
The social schism in US society, the widening "poverty gap" is a result of Americans being lazy. Most see the conditions over in Europe and think, "Why can't we have that here?" Because Europeans have a generally better attitude. They BELIEVE in working for their livings, their companies, and their countries, and their companies and countries believe in working for THEM.
If there's a big problem here in America, it's that everyone here is "me-first" when it comes to "getting stuff", but doesn't want to GIVE a damned thing to get it.
All of the Europeans I've dealt with (and maybe it's just because I dealt with them through business) have had strong work-ethics. Europeans are decent people because they DON'T PUT UP with people who aren't. There, if you fail to provide value, you're pretty much cast out. Here, you complain to your senator and you get free money, free housing, free food, etc. It's the "sh!tty stuff", but in a culture of "lazy", it's good enough.
That's the thing about "freedom"...it only helps you if you're responsible enough to WORK for what you want. That's why most Americans are poor...because most Americans think they should get something for nothing.
And just because the author has lived in the "nice parts" of Europe doesn't mean he's seen everything. There are poor people there as well...they just hide them better. I'm not impressed.
Bush has been out of office for about 2 years now. It's not cool any more. You can give it a rest.
