I do this. All the time. To be fair, since I don't really have much PUA skill or anything like that, I just do what I know. I know that this method works in clubs/bars/house parties, because again, that is what I know.

Elstud, I think that you will have good luck with the super-direct method if you have everything planned out ahead of time. Do you have alcohol ( or whatever you want to do) at your house? Do you have your apartment clean and ready to present to a hot girl? Are you comfortable where you are going to take her?

If you are-- then go for it. Go out to parties, social events, whatever and talk to girls.
Then, forget the number thing and use these words exactly:

"What are you doing after this?"

Do not change them, do not add anything to them, do not overthink them.

Wait for her to say:

"I don't know, why?"

Then, you offer her to come back to your house and party with you/hang out with you, whatever you want to say. When she gets there and you guys have been talking and getting to know each other, fvck her. I want you to do this. No numbers, no dates, (sometimes I don't even know their names) nothing that would tell her that you are going to do anything other than nail her ass to the floor with your d1ck.
