How can a guy expect to have dating success if he doesn't have a job or lives with his parents? Can you blame women for not wanting to date those types? What does he have to offer? A penis? lol

the 20 to 24-year-old age group has had the greatest decline in employment – particularly men in that age group – and there is an increase in young people returning to their parents' homes.

But Greszler says it's important to note that the labor participation rate was on the decline long before the pandemic. She points out it peaked around 2000, and among men aged 20 to 24, employment is down 10.5% since then.

Why work when you can just do the knuckle shuffle on your piss-pump on Porn Hub and receive funds from the gov't for not working? Many younger dudes have become females, and the females have become dudes. Truly a reverse in the genders...

Simple. You can't.

Why work when you can just do the knuckle shuffle on your piss-pump on Porn Hub and receive funds from the gov't for not working? Many younger dudes have become females, and the females have become dudes. Truly a reverse in the genders...
The younger generations are weaker, snowflakes and complain, cry, moan about the current situation and their opportunity which is has been given to them.

But they never lived through the great depression which is far way worse then anything anyone here has experienced. What did old granddad and grandma do?

Sit and cry and whine about the situation?
No, they got up to the challenge, grabbed firmly their balls and got to work on their future harden than anyone before.

There is too much whining these days and very little done.

The government owes you nothing, we the people owe you nothing and nobody cares about you, (Well your mom and dad perhaps).

It is time to grow some balls and grow up.

Never try to read a woman's mind. It is a scary place. Ignore her confusing signals and mixed messages. Assume she is interested in you and act accordingly.

The responses from my fellow men is disgusting.

I'm currently 21, I stopped working since 20 year old.

I worked at target while having a side hustle. The reason I'm not currently employed and don't even plan on getting a job (within 2-3 years) is because I realized I could leverage my time and earn more money with my side hustle.

If you want to relate this to women (since that's what everyone does), I can say without a doubt they're more intrigued due to the hustle and independence. But, this is something I never blantly express unless questioned. On the other hand, it's harder to meet women since I'm not at the job everyday.

Just my thought...but it's NOT ALL NEGATIVE since men are less in the work field. Some may be future CEOs.

I don't want to take shots at anyone but it's interesting on how you guys interpret the results one-sided, almost like women (hahahah). Everything and everyone is banishing men. But as men...we should not be looking/acting that way.

I can't say I'm perfect or better than you (yet). But I hope all of our minds/soul/physicalness can grow to the highest potential...because if I outgrew you kids...I'm definitely going to have some harsh words to say NOT because you lost, but due to how you reacted and responded to life.

Props for having a side hustle that makes more money than Target. Nothing wrong with that. It's always been about working smarter, not harder.

Imo this is a sign of a psychological epidemic as much as anything. These guys are demoralized, addicted, something.
Unless higher education is involved, it’s a lack of work ethic which reflects low personal values …
Past generations parents produced some ethic in their children during childhood and it can be taught in adulthood with OJT if a man has a job, but a downward trend reveals neither has happened at an increasing pace.

The world owes No man a living …

I’ve always thought a better future world starts with effective parenting which seems to be in somewhat of a decline mode …

From what I've heard.... Gen Z(under 25) don't respect traditional 9-5 jobs, and are all about "side hustle".... Inflencers and Onlyfans seems to garner more respect...
This is true. I’m a millennial, not Gen Z but have dated Gen Z girls. Hustle culture is everywhere. They actually look down on regular jobs.

I don’t “blame” them per se. Who the fvck wants to bust their ass working a job that still leaves em broke? May as well hustle.

It’s true in dating as well. Broads don’t respect traditional hard working men. They want fast money.

Most of my peers live at home and fit in that age group.

All of them are employed, but many of the men lack drive. The handful of friends that have moved out on their own are yuppies elevated through nepotism. Most guys I know who are making even decent money have decided to stay at home while it is economically sound. (Rent in my state is astronomically high and most young guys see little incentive to move out.) However, one common thread I see with these guys who DO want to move out and elevate themselves is they often want to chase tail (and success!). As odd as that may sound it is certainly a motivator. It is for me as well

I at 25, live at home, work a full time gig, freelance, have several forms of passive income and also do volunteer work. My finances are getting in order and there are opportunities before me which I will be pursuing in the near future. I am currently in the transition of moving out and hope to be out the door before summer. I stayed at home after high school to work, go to community college, hone my crafts and ended up going to a rich kid school on a full ride during covid. Never took out any loans and have zero debt to my name. I missed out on 'fun' and kept my head down and worked with what I had, it depressed me for a time, but taught me the valuable lesson of delayed gratification. Most of my peers went straight to college, partied, learned jack and graduated into a dicey job market right as the pandemic hit while being severely in debt from financial aid. Nearly all of my friends lost their jobs/opportunities in 2020 and many have yet to recover. I also, like many young adults during the pandemic fell into a depressed state for a time. But I got out of it through sheer force

Jump to now and I feel more driven to get out of the house with the core motivator being personal freedom and being able to 'date' freely. The majority of women 18-25 still live at home where I am at, but a double standard comes to play. They expect the guy to have his own place, his own car, his own everything otherwise it is a 'red flag'. Is this fair?........No, but it is the burden of performance that men SHOULD undertake and use as fuel to get out there. life is not fair and b******* about it won't change a damn thing.

Many young men feel defeated.

They lack guidance and they don't understand that drive and motivation is overrated. You need to first become disciplined and clear in what you want and with a concerted effort drive will follow. In other words they need momentum. Most young men (and women) have felt as though there is a massive unconquerable mountain before them so they complain.

"This is too expensive, insurance is too expensive, I can't afford a car, I can't afford a house, everyone is evil, the government is corrupt, the system is broken". etc...

These are the common gripes heard amongst young Americans today (most millenials) and they are fairly well founded.

However, recognizing these things is good if one actually reflects upon it and decides to start scaling that mountain. Yes, there are a lot of things 'wrong' in the world, so it is time to man the f*** up and get yours. Make actionable changes slowly and combat the status quo and don't fall into victimhood. So many men perpetuate a victim mindset (almost as much as young women do nowadays,) it's a shame really...

Most young guys are sexless and not in relationships and have simply given up in that regard. It is disheartening to say the least, but I have seen an uptick in young guys changing their mentality for the better. Many western men have indirectly moved into MGTOW mindsets and with that comes the whole doomer/blackpill mental schema. These are the men that will remain as 'losers' until they undertake accountability and make change. The guys I've seen who have 'accepted' a lot of harsh truths about reality started off depressed and bummed like most.... but now I am noticing this sudden tenacity from many of the men around my age.

I think many of these guys feel slighted and as a result they are starting to transmute that into actionable drive. They were told a whole bunch of idealistic nonsense from a young age and when they hit adulthood reality kicked them down. Some got up on their feet in retaliation, whereas others (most) crawled into the fetal position and started giving up.
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Young people in general need ethics, morality, discipline and positive strong mentors who can help guide them towards success in life.

Most young people have never had a quality mentor and the education system here in America is rife with political agenda seeking to pacify the masses (with an emphasis on men.) Men are demonized, demoralized and increasingly feminized. Whereas women are inversely positively affected by these societal constructs and encouraged to

"do what's best for you".

This in my opinion is the root of many of the issues found in the west, we have a noticeable disparity in power between the two genders and our masculine and feminine energies are thrown completely out of whack. Young people are confused

There needs to be a change and boys must recognize this and become men, less we want to further slide backward. They must usurp the current gender imbalance in the west and strive to fix things, not complain about them and wallow in misery. We need more older wiser men bestowing knowledge to the future generations and instilling proper masculinity in them. Currently in America, our education system, media, and government push a gynocentric narrative which has lead to the collapse of western society. It needs to stop

Sorry long post.... :ninja:

Over cooked howie. Homeless men can bang. Drug dealers, living with mom.
Happens all the time.
Irrational self confidence and game can overcome anything.
I have to agree with you there. I had the hottest girls when I was couch surfing for 18 months. No money, no prospects, just carefree and spontaneous and a lot of women seemed to be drawn to that.

If they’re a low-iq extrovert with muscles, they’ll get women. If they aren’t, they won’t. Work doesn’t have much to do with it, especially in that age bracket.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

I think it’s amusing that people who accepted hundreds of thousands of dollars in government handouts AND had them forgiven still consider themselves capitalists.

I PPP check everyone now.

The decline of unions and the recession of 2009 have something to do with it plus everybody's work from home now so I think that's a big thing.

I'm kind of with these 2 guys, tbh.

I probably got laid the most in my life when I was unemployed and living at home (ps - in the UK it's really not uncommon to be living with your parents at an older age as the rent can be unbelieveable to the point lots of young single people can't even afford to live in a shoebox on a fulltime wage in lots of the South East for example). American kids seem to move out way earlier on the whole from what I gather. Cheaper.

But yeah, at that time I was super in to 'game' and was approaching like a madman, no job, and bringing girls back to my parents house every weekend. None of them cared. I was too old to be living at home, and definitely was a loser in the traditional sense, but The whole 'loser' thing is irrelevant to them if they happen to think you are hot and you have 'gamed' them decently enough. (more inportant that 'game's is of course that they think you are hot though, lol. Game is always the icing on the cake)

My brother was a drug dealer (who also lived at home despite actually being loaded lol) and he crushed it. As you say, times have changed. 'Having a job' isn't necessarily a badge of honour anymore. And not having a job isn't an issue to lots of young girls either. Just this week on my facebook feed there were 2 'influencer' type girls. Very hot. Both appeared on my facebook feed in the 'reels' section. Vids of them talking to their 'fans' etc and doing stupid ****. And they both had boyfriends who didn't even look employable and i'd be amazed it they even had a job at all. Just tatted up skinny broke looking dudes who just wanted to get high. (edit: One of them definitely didn't have a job. She said that he was unemployed but wanted to start a business selling hats. It made me think of Jeff from American dad or something when she said that lol. The other guy, id wager also didn't have a job. Both very hot girlfriends, though)

Don't always be the one putting yourself out for her. Don't always be the one putting all the effort and work into the relationship. Let her, and expect her, to treat you as well as you treat her, and to improve the quality of your life.
