People dress up to go to clubs regardless. The club scene has both its negative and positive aspects.

I know someone that is in his late 30's going out with 18+ year olds. As for myself I'm in my mid 30's and I still go out and dance. (I think my martial art practices help me keep fit. I know alot of older guys who can really move.) Although I do admit I do look 10 years younger.

In my honest opinion I think (in your case) your physical apperance may contribute in women calling you. 26 is still fairly youthful and lean muscle does help to attract women.
