Awful leg day. Tried heavy got a few, zero motivation to train hard today. Only forgiving factor is tearing up stuff leg deadlifts. I did good there, really changed the training from almost useless into decent effort. Almost.

Finishing a dirty leg session will get that feeling. Plan exactly how many reps and sets and that final one brings joy.
Just grinding to failure doesn't quite cheer me up the same way :-)

My thoughts exactly.
In a Year I gained 20kg, thats about 50lb. I started out hard and gained fast as hell for the first 4 - 5 months - like 3kg every 4 weeks or so.
gains slowed up and now im making like 2 - 3 lb every 4 -5 weeks.
set your sights higher eat big, train hard and eat well...
do upright rows close grip to hit traps more and wide grip for rear delts - Dunno if you knew that already...
Also - the best thing ive found for Abs by far is the DB pullovers and vertical pullovers. I occasionally do leg raise, but i dont do situps and crunches - I dont have the attention...
