What have you achieved during lockdown?

Sounds challenging doing all that work round the house, I'm pretty useless when it comes to that type of stuff. Yea there's a lot of conspiracy theories going around about covid 19. Some are quite crazy

What have you achieved during lockdown?

Nice! I know how to make a red thai curry. So I might try your trick next time I want to get a girl over to my place.

What have you achieved during lockdown?

I'm curious what you guys have been up to. Here what I have done so far: Workout 4-5 days a week. 50 pullups and 50 pushups per workout minimum. I sometimes do handstand pushups instead of the regular ones. Made second instagram account based on my passion for music. I've been uploading often...

    Fasting

Fronts levers are super tough. I can do one where my legs are kinda bent but not straight

    Fasting

Just because a few guys online are doing it doesn't mean it's sustainable for the majority of people. A lot of my network are heavily into fitness and health and only a handful have done fasting. Of the few that did, they didn't stick to it for more than a month or 2. That's usually how it...

    Fasting

Yea fasting is a nice challenge to do. Just not sustainable long term imo. I'm doing mainly bodyweight stuff everyday. Pushups, pullups, and handstand press. Got some light dumbbells for rear delts. I'll ocxasionally throw in a 15 minuete jog for cardio too. There's this really hard challenge...

Do you wear lift shoes when you go out?

I'm 5 ft 10 so same height as OP. I refuse to believe that only 2 inches of added height makes people treat you differently to that extent. It's not like people can magically measure your height just by looking at you. I bet if you told them you were an inch taller than you are they couldn't...

At what age a guy is no longer youngish?

Im 25 but I've always been told I look younger. I've got a full head of hair so that helps a lot. I also make sure I stay lean. Some of the guys I grew up with have aged terribly. Balding, gained weight, wrinkles etc. But a lot of that is genetic unfortunately. I definitely look better overall...

Was it worth shutting down the economy?

I see your point, but as I stated before even people with compromised health conditions will not take quarantining as seriously as a total lockdown situation. Let's say the government had advised people with health problems to quarantine themselves. I'd bet the majority of 20 something people...

Was it worth shutting down the economy?

I've already thought of this too. But there are a few counter arguments to this. Firstly there is a higher chance people will take isolating less seriously if only a select few were told to do it. The mortality rate will be higher compared to a total lockdown situation. Secondly, there will...

Was it worth shutting down the economy?

In the UK you can get fined a hefty amount for going against the government guidelines. The guidelines only allow you to step out the house to buy essentials, or to go for one jog a day for exersize. I've heard of many people being stopped in parks by police to be questioned.

Was it worth shutting down the economy?

Exactly man, this whole thing has been blown out of proportion. God knows why. I'm also concerned with how easy it was for the government to get us all under house arrest. Maybe it's all part of a bigger plan, but it's too soon to tell.

Was it worth shutting down the economy?

Personally I don't think it was worth it. We are going to lose so much because of lockdown. The amount of jobs lost, mental health effects on people being stuck in their houses, and the increase of suicide and divorce. If covid-19 was a virus with a higher death rate then there would be a...

    how to really get laid

I'd hardly say I'm a workaholic, my weekly hours rarely exceed 50 hours. That can't be changed because I need to work so I can afford to live lol I'm aware that you need to loosen up before a night out and all that stuff, I've been hitting nightclubs since I was 18. My point in my first post...

    Being a PT as a side-hustle?

Interesting stuff, thanks for the insight. My full time job is an engineer atm. I've been doing it for a few years so I could potentially do my own thing with that. Until then, I might have to settle with something like a bartending job in ten weekends. I've been looking into stocks and...

    Being a PT as a side-hustle?

Yep the number of PTs nowadays is crazy. I've seen a few people giving online training services, but most of them have a large instagram following, which takes a long time to grow in of itself. Another thing I've realised is that it's extremely hard to train someone properly online. A lot of...

    Being a PT as a side-hustle?

Just to confirm I meant personal trainer. I agree with this especially about how the market is saturated. It seems almost anyone into fitness is trying to become a Personal trainer now lol I have seen a lot of PTs being super energetic and animated, and I just can't see myself acting like...

    Being a PT as a side-hustle?

Im bringing up this topic due to the fact that having one job for the rest of your life is not the smartest move nowadays. It's especially relevant now, because many people have been made redundant from their jobs due to corona. I just wanted to ask your guys take on becoming a PT as a...
