When you leave school, you gain more autonomy. It only gets harder if you can't handle your **** right. I assume everyone on this thread lives in the first world. We're not leaving school to choose between building on unsafe sites 14 hours a day or driving a taxi in India for 2 dollars an hour...
Obviously finding a balance is the best thing but not everyone has these choices. The job doesn't have to be your passion; just make sure its not something you hate thinking about on a Sunday. I've experienced both extremes in terms of job satisfaction and if its something you don't like it can...
Better to say nothing than something stupid. At least seem respec worthy, if not interesting. Speak with assertiveness and authority. Don't engage too much in the social side of things and palm it off as aloofness. Act professional.
What are the other results of heavy bag? Is it borderline cardio? Better for toning than muscle gain? BTW, if you can get someone to help, I used to do kick boxing and the best forearm workout I ever had was when punching the mitts. The guy who's holding the mitts thrusts his hands towards yours...
So I had a PT write me a training schedule up, designed to build muscle, but there's no excersizes for forearms and I've not seen anyone at the gym doing anything that is obviously for forearms. Is it to be expected that the forearm will grow with the rest of the arm without working on it...
Sounds like not many of you can give the boy decent advice as your becoming emotional due to your resentment of him not having the same financial obligations as yourselves. If you had a brain, you wouldn't have such little money that you resent having to buy toilet paper. I don't think when he's...
@ImTheDoubleGreatest! If he critisizes you or says that, tell dad, "look dad, this is what I think will make me happy and maybe it isn't the right choice but its the one I'm going to make. Arguing with me about it isn't going to change mymind, it'll only cause friction between us. If I'm wrong...
@YawataNoKami
Good response. I would still argue it's not as common as people think. Certainly I don't know anyone its happened to nor have I heard of it happening to anyone. I would say though, its probably more common in America. You guys have a lot more social issues than other developed...
@ImTheDoubleGreatest! I know it may seem hard now, but don't let your dad dictate everything you do. Youre of legal age to choose if you commute or move. If you have a fall out you've always got the government as a safety net. Youre getting to the age where you need to start making decisions...
I still work a boring factory job. I'm working long hours to save money to get to where I want to be in life and enjoying seeing my balance rise. Alls good
School years being easy depends on who you are. If you hate school, then it can't be easy. I'd much rather work a boring factory job, earn a living and feel like my time was worth it than have to do something I have no desire to do. And if you have a bad relationship with family members you live...
Seems like a taker. Be very aloof. Don't show very much attention. The fact she had the courage to question you shows she's not short of options. You definitely have to tease her, agree and amplify and not have very much general conversation. Be direct. Escalate quickly.
