    Excellent Book I'm Reading...

"No More Mr. Nice Guy" by Dr. Robert A Glover. It's packed with concrete, useful stuff on not being weak, standing up for yourself, and pursuing success in work, play and romance. Most refreshingly, it's compact (about 140 pages), and doesn't wrap its content in a long and clumsy parable (IE...

I want to smell good what are some good colognes

Three colognes I miss... Basara - Very warm and spicy, but not overpowering. Polo Sport Extreme - very different Polo scent, also very warm and spicy. New West - Ultra clean, unique scent.

I want to smell good what are some good colognes

I like both... When I'm wearing Drakkar or Acqua di Gio, I've gotten compliments from women. Suprisingly, I've been complimented on my $8.00 Adidas Cool Spice Sport aftershave, too.

    Creating the sense of mystery

Great ideas, except I think the gun thing may not be such a great idea. Most people are unenlightened about guns, especially women, and I think they'd be afraid, repulsed, or both. An unusual decorative object, or even a really elegant-looking (perhaps ceremonial) knife might be better.

THIS IS SO BIZARRE Read at own RISK>

Somehing akin to this happened to me at work many years ago. I had gotten friendly with one of the department managers during inventory night. A few days later, I thought I saw her, and I approached her to say hello as if I already knew her. It turned out to be a similar looking person, and...

Most obvious come-on that was missed

I was at a vacation resort in upstate NY. I was 22. There was an older woman there (divorced), I met up with. We hung out at the downstairs nightclub area. She said she didn't want to dance, but wanted to walk around the lake. We walked, then sat on a bench for while. She told me her...

    Online Personals (Merged threads)

Hmmm... I think you've actually amplified my points. This thing between her and I has actually moved along pretty quickly. It really wasn't long before she was suggesting I come over to fix her machine. I don't think there is much risk in her classifying me as a "chat friend"...

    Online Personals (Merged threads)

Hmmm... I've never been a big supporter of looking for people to meet online. Tried it a few times, didn't like the results. Every time I had a great relationship, it started with a real-life encounter first. That said, I got a good vibe from this person's profile, and we talked easily...

    Online Personals (Merged threads)

My reply Thanks, Griffin, some good insights there. Most women I've seen from 'net meetings aren't that hot. But this one is very very cute. I'll take your advice. Anyone else care to chime in?

Need some help with an online -->offline meeting with a gal Greetings, all: I need assistance with a situation. I can sense possibilities here, but I don't want to mess up. Last night, I had an interesting conversation with a woman in my area. She just got divorced, and is somewhat...

    Cologne

Cologne Suggestion If you tend to wear a strong cologne, spray more than usual (about 2x), then take a quick, warm shower with a minimal amount of soap usage before going out. This tends to take the edge off of the cologne. It leaves a more subtle note that's great for a date - it WILL get...

    Some thoughts on meeting women...

Greetings, I'm new to this forum. For guys who lack a bit of confidence in day to day life to approach a woman, I say, "go on vacation!" In a vacation situation, I've noticed women are generally more relaxed and friendly. And I find myself that way, too. Perhaps...
