Fatherhood tends to make men more mature. His wife has no problem with his anger issues, because she knows he's harmless, but for children his volatile behaviour might be unnerving.
Worst thing for most women is a man who is not in control of his emotions. Bill seems to understand that now and has become more sensitive to providing a role model for his kid.

Patrice was also a lot less popular. I think he was brilliant and I liked his IDGAF attitude, but it also made him controversial. Not a comic for the masses like Bill Cosby.

In the end, Bill Cosby got crucified by the establishment for daring to buy NBC. He was becoming too powerful for them, so he had to go. They assassinated his son as a message. Patrice O Neal won in the end. Meanwhile, Bill Burr is not only subdued, whenever he brings hosts on the show, 99% of them are just typical establishment people, with some of them not even being actually white. Same for Joe Rogan. And yes, Bill Burr has a strange obsession with hating his own whiteness.

Eddie Griffin already said it, you don't leave this business clean. Bill Burr fell in line, that's what happened. Patric and Cosby are example of when you do not, though they have the added benefit of being black.

If it was, he would have laughed it off, but he deliberately has avoided bringing it up. And as an avid follower of his podcast [which I've recently been slowly stopping listening cause Bill has become someone else and Nia has obviously taken over his house], I believe at least 75% of it.
