This realization came to me a while back: many women say they don’t care about celebrating Valentine’s Day, but you’d be in trouble if you didn’t buy them something or make the day special. After all, their friends probably got something from their significant other. That being said, Valentine’s Day is a great opportunity to earn some brownie points with your mom, mother-in-law, sister, or even make your daughter’s day special with a small gesture—like buying some roses and chocolates for about 20 bucks. Don’t be stingy. If you’re talking to a girl, you can also buy her something and make it a lukewarm effort, just make sure her feelings toward you are reciprocated so you don’t look dumb.
Most girlfriends/wives have expectations for Valentine's Day.

The boyfriends are buying gifts and hoping to get laid as a result of buying gifts.

I went to the grocery store today to pick up some groceries, and on the way out, I stopped by the gift shop to buy some flowers, teddy bears, and chocolates. There was a huge line, and most of the people in it were men, mostly in their early 30s, though I saw men of all ages buying flowers.
The early 30s guys likely have similarly aged girlfriends/wives. A lot of those guys are feeling a lot of pressure. Women are putting pressure on them for a ring or wanting to have a baby soon. The guys don't want to mess up Valentine's Day because they are worried about lacking access to sex. Monogamous beta males in relationships live in a world of scarcity and fear about having to start new interactions.

I don’t know if it is sex related, but they most likely don’t want the woman to bring up the fact that they didn’t bought anything for Valentine’s Day in the future during an argument as well.

Edit: or maybe they are genuinely in love and they are doing it from their heart…

To me, that would be sex related. A future argument would reduce the chances for getting pussie.

Bruh. You saying it wrong. Boyfriend hopping to get laid? That don't sound right.

The act of giving attention and gifts is for the woman to feel good. It's her day today. Be it valentine's or march 8 if you living in other parts of the world. Getting laid has nothing to do with it.

I have been straight the **** OUT of all of my DM's today, it has been total radio silence on my end, will be tomorrow and sunday as well.

I want them guessing what I have been up to, I want them wondering why I'm not responding.

The only acception to this are obviously with the woman who lives with me and the couple other women we are super tight with, any of the 'plates' who are not already on my roster will not hear from me all weekend even if I am bored.

This is because women are seeing men trying to leverage Valentines Day, you can kill it for yourself if you come off as trying to emotionally manipulate her when she is feeling lonely, why take a risk of ****ing it up if you can just do nothing and let her mind do the heavy lifting for you?

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

In monogamous longer term relationships, boyfriends and husbands are often in a position where they are hoping to get laid from their girlfriends/wives.

Numerous boyfriends/husbands would like to have more sex in their relationships. That's a normal feeling in the world of Average Frustrated Chumps.

Their girlfriends/wives completely control their access to sex.

This is very true, which is why they mutter dumb **** like "It's cheaper to keep her" and "happy wife happy life" and so on.

When guys like us have conversations with most boyfriends/husbands in these LTRs/marriages and actively listen to what they're saying, it becomes evident that their scarcity mentality exists.

The majority of men in these relationships have messed up power dynamics. These are guys who are chasing sex from women experiencing some degree of boredom and with lower levels of genuine desire.

Please explain what’s wrong with a couple going out for a date night or whatever else an anniversary entails.
Anniversary is only important to the woman. It's just another day to bother the significant other about. It's arbitrary. It's one thing if it's something like a 10th year anniversary. But doing it every year makes it another annual event for marriage couples, and becomes no different from remember her birthday or valentines day.

Anyway, it's Feb 15 and a Saturday. Lucky day for single men out there.

What do you recommend men who are unattached do today? Daygame? Nightgame?

Most couples are doing anniversaries as an annual celebration.

Additionally, anniversaries are also celebrated arbitrarily. For non-marital couples, an anniversary can be....
  • The day that they first met
  • The day of their first date
  • The day they officially became a couple (probably least common of the 3)

After marriage, the date of the marriage becomes the anniversary, which is almost always a different day of the year than the calendar date of the first date or the calendar date of the day they first met.

Both, honestly. I know youre a daygame guy and Im a nightgame guy.

With anniversaries, it's always the wife who cares about it in the relationship. She brings it up whenever she's feeling insignificant, or saw one of her friends celebrating [just like how valentines day goes down]. It's always a competition with another woman.

That's good. Someone could call today a player's choice day. There would be options for both daygame and nightgame today.

Saturdays in general are good days for both daygame and nightgame.

For daygame guys, women are more leisurely when they are in the parks or on the street/walking paths. As long as they aren't wearing headphones/earbuds, they could be an option. A lot of women will grocery shop on Saturday. Women go to malls on Saturdays.

Saturday nights at nightlife venues often bring out enough women. There's good and bad with that. On Friday-Saturday nights, women are known to have their defenses way up at bars because every horny guy is hitting on them then. Every John Paycheck, Average Frustrated Chump beta male goes out to bars every weekend night and hopes to "get lucky". Pathetic mindset! All these guys do are piss off women with bad approaches.

There's a valid argument for why bar game is better during weeknight happy hour type times or later nights on weeknights. Less of a crowd, more serious prospects. If a woman is out at 11 PM on a Tuesday night, she is more serious about meeting men.

With anniversaries, it's always the wife who cares about it in the relationship. She brings it up whenever she's feeling insignificant, or saw one of her friends celebrating [just like how valentines day goes down]. It's always a competition with another woman.
There's a lot of truth to this.

My wife and her mother planned a surprise birthday party for my 40th with much preparation involving a theme of my interest. About 50 people, friends and family members attended. Does that sound like a boring obligation or an event or fun and (gasp) love amongst those involved?

I once had a very memorable four month fling. Our second date (first one was at her house) was on Valentine’s Day, on which she paid for me, and afterwards invited me to her home to have sex numerous times.

Last night my kids ran up to me after I got home, hugged me, and wished me, Happy Valentine’s Day, and then the four of us ate dinner together.

It seems like you are describing men who aren’t truly liked by or doted over by their women or miseries, male and female!

Your scenarios are not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about the typical LTR couple where the woman reminds the man every year of the specific special days so she can have something nice to show off on social media and to her friends.

In a lot of LTR couples, the man doesn't need to be reminded. The man knows not to forget the anniversary so as to prevent a major argument and issues with getting sex for a while. Most women will be pissed if a man forgets their anniversary date. A birthday would be just as big of a deal if it were forgotten too.

I honestly think all these days are mostly for women. Birthdays, a man can be fine with no one remembering it, but a woman will make sure everyone knows and wants to do something on it.

That is why it turns into a tit for tat, she will use sex to make him do chores for her, then she will despise him for being so easy to manipulate.
