There are red pillers, "purple" pillers, and black pillers here. I don't think it really matters what label you wanna use. The zealots who've read too much Rollo or Rich Cooper or old school PUA stuff seem to have a mindset of "this is the way things are, just accept it bro" and are among the worst crowd, and they are always red-pilled because they view the red pill as an ideology not a philosophy. Regardless I would say I am red pilled (philosophically) but I do think the movement has some flaws. For instance I dislike the labelling of everyone as alpha or beta, and while those characteristics are a real thing, it's a bit cringey and reductionistic.

Slowly but surely, more of us are recognizing that none of what came to be labelled Red Pill Knowledge in the mid 2010s is especially new*, and that this entire notion of dividing all thought into polarized categories("Red Pill" really just means "Sufficiently orthodox", "Blue Pill" is but a euphemism for "Heresy"/"Blasphemy")is really just religious fundamentalism

I don't know; there are people who demonize the red pill and anything that falls within the looksmax realm. From my own life experience, I can firmly say that some content related to the red pill, black pill, and looksmax is quite legitimate.
I've seen this in real life and how people respond to those elements as well.

It's just real! The guys on looksmax are pretty exaggerated, but some content holds truths!
In Italy, we have something we call "giusta misura" and "buon senso," which is similar to the "red pill" philosophy without necessarily knowing or reading about it.
It suggests that in every situation, we must evaluate the highs and lows and strive to find a balance.

Most RP guru's are frauds and aren't guys that I would look at as "ladies men" much less "Alpha" I know blue pill guys IRL who are far more "alpha" than your favorite redpill guru and get better women too

My take is that this is not religion, I follow no one, and there are no absolute truths.

There's just useful information for me to accept or discard, and my views are flexible.

The thing about the RP is that like a lot of group think it can attract weak minds who need to follow someone. So you get the whole cult dynamic. Men simping for their Dear Leader. This can happen with any "ideology," so I try to stay unattached to any belief but just go with my own flow.

I've met some of the biggest names in the RP community(or converse with on the phone or online) just from networking behind the scenes (this isn't a secret) most of those guys are not qualified to be coaches, you have some guys who may be able to get women but are super average. You got some guys that don't practice what they preach and do everything they tell their audience not to do. Heck you even got Rollo Tomassi(I never met him) who published a book recently titled "The Players Handbook" but the guys been married for over 30 years wtf does he know about being a player in 2024? the game has changed a lot since 1990, unless Rollo is cheating on his darling wife. Most RP/PUA guru coaches are grifters you got some that are even paying women's rent, and buying them thousands of dollars worth of gifts. The reason why the RP is seen as a joke with the populous. Is because you got clowns running it, and Pearl is the leader(if you going of numbers alone, she's on top). To any true high-value man they see the RP guru's for what they are, a bunch of dorks who want to rebrand themselves as "The Cool Kids" saying asinine things, to go viral. Even Andrew Tate didn't wanna be associated with the RP although he certainly used the RP audience to hit a lick.

I remember a time when you could trust video and photo evidence, but the fakes get more and more 'realistic' and I fear that the new generations will no longer be able to trust their eyes.

Tomassi published "The Rational Male: The Players Handbook" in 2022. I read it in 2023. Tomassi has been married since 1996 and in the same relationship since 1995. The critique that you made of Rollo Tomassi is the most common critique out there. It's amazing that his marriage has lasted 28 years but his marriage length isn't sustainable for a lot of men. Most of the "The Players Handbook" would be based on observation and conversations with other men. That is a limiting factor.

The black pill ideology has been growing faster than the red pill ideology since the mid-2010s and I expect that trend to continue.
