In the US recently graduated software developers pull in about $150k.

RN’s in a decent sized metro start at about 160k.

The data is out there if you want to look for it.

these folks are typically in their 20’s…

Only a tiny number of men are legitimately going to be making anything well over 100k under the age of 40 lol, let alone 250k lol. What are the chances some random guy on the internet knows not one but several guys like this?.

This thread is all a bunch of nonsense. The guy claims to know all these super highly successful people on a personal level that are living baller type lifestyles. No guy that has an empty place would be associated with guys like this, as he'd be trying to emulate their lifestyle's to try to fit in lol. @Jesse Pinkman probably follows some instagram famous douchebag that lives in Miami that is a VIP at the clubs there or some ****
With some tweeks, the original post and some others could read like romance fiction, which is softcore porn for women.

I sold my company last year for several million and it was generating over $1 million per year in free cashflow since 2017 so I've been a millionaire for a few years now. The most simple way for me to describe the difference between being successful and being average is that successful people do not seek validation or approval from people that are below their status. The percentage of people that I encounter in daily life that are above my status is very limited so for the most part I am almost never seeking approval from others but other people are often seeking validation from me.
Hi Radha,
Sorry Don't agree with you....Through juggling Real Estate, working as an Engineer later Uni Lecturer combined with running my own Building Business I got to the status of a US$Millionaire at about 34,a level I was knocked off of by two marriage bust ups for never more than 7 years at a time...I was 6foot,am blonde, blue eyes,a solid 8,powerful physique, can switch on the charm, can Dance, cook and converse, living in Towns with a gender bias skewed my way, though I have always had a partner, until 20 years ago,I had to really battle for every bit of Pvussy I could get and have NEVER dated anything better than a 7+....In the Anglo-Spere it is considered bad manners to boast about wealth so I tell no one, have never driven anything more ostentacious than an old '87 Ford Wagon or 2007 Toyota...So you young Guys don't despair, stay on this site and if you have nothing else work on your personality!

I have seen guys that get laid and pull in Miami and those that do not. Money has little to do with it even though a lot of these guys have it. It is more about the soft skills and what I mentioned in the OP. These guys:

1. Go to the right venues at the right time

2. Abandon bad venues and times fast

3. Don't waste time on girls that play too many games

4. Use their money WISELY such as having better logistics and access

5. Have access to cool stuff that not even money can buy, like Maxim events or exclusive parties girls want to be in
This makes sense. I think you could have said it more concisely to start the thread. A man with fewer resources can emulate these protocols. Obviously rich guys have no problem doing it but middle income or even college dudes can find ways to make these work for them. Work smart, not hard.

Bro, that's not true. I knew nurses in the Boston metro that capped out at maybe 120k-140k a few years back. No new grad is going to be making anywhere near that. Not including stuff like OT, etc.

That's really good money for nurses. I knew nurses made solid salaries, but I didn't think it was $120,000. I thought typial nurse salaries were in the range of $75,000 - $105,000. That's good money but not exceptional.

Even if a nurse is making something like $85,000, she's not likely to be impressed by a man making $95,000. That man making $95,000 is doing reasonably well in life.

They do not waste time on crap venues or waste time in general.

If there is one thing I noticed that cold approach guys do not get, it is the concept of time. A lot of them waste time on crap venues and stay there not just for a night but they just keep coming back to the same venues to do game. To them, it is this idea of "take action" as much as possible. On a bigger scale, they also waste a lot of time when out at night. I am talking spending an hour to talk to ugly girls and fat girls just to "get into state". With successful guys, I do not notice this at all.

If a successful guy comes into a venue and gets a bad feel about it, they are out of that venue fast. Successful men do not waste time on crap venues, ever. In fact, their mantra is along the lines of win fast lose fast. If a girl is being too difficult and not worth it, they will bail. They do not try to overcome objections because to them, there are plenty of attractive women who will not offer up objections.
These are good practices.

Cold approach is very foreign to them.

I met the attractive friends I did while cold approaching at venues and incorporating them into my sets. I even cold approached in front of some successful guys. Most guys do not do this at all if they are successful or attractive. In fact, for the most part it is almost unheard of. So many of them are used to meeting women naturally or through the apps that you would never find them doing things like daygame.
It would be nice to achieve this. I have found that a lot of daygame is inefficient and leads to wasted time.

Bro, there is nothing on there that says anything about that being for brand new nurses lol. You also cherry picked a metro area that is one of the most expensive in the country lol.

@Pierce.Manhammer has no clue what he is talking about with what he cited. There are some specialty fields in nursing that pay very well but require further education, stuff like being a nurse practitioner or a CRNA for instance. Travel nursing is something where you can make very good money. There's a guy I know from the gym that graduated from a community college with an associate's degree and he mentioned he got into a travel position right after graduating in some podunk area of Illinois lol. Anyway, he mentioned that they gave out like a 10k cash bonus and was making quite a bit more than what he would have pulled if he was part of the permanent staff. I've also seen travel positions to Alaska that were paying $200 an hour or more, but there's a catch to that. Many of these positions were in incredibly isolated parts of Alaska, which by itself can be an issue for some people. In addition to this, the cost of food can be insane for even basic items. I don't have the exact numbers on hand, but when I went there for vacation I recall seeing this for myself.

That income I cited for Boston was with nurses that had been working in the field for years and had their incomes capped out. No new nurse is going to be pulling anything like that. Boston metro also has a relatively high cost of living compared to the rest of the country, though not as bad as urban CA.

Never mind, you posted your anecdotal experience with the Boston market; why not post what it's like in my environs?

It happens to be the market I live and work in, so yeah. Your point?

OMG, dude, associate degree RNs make cr@p. Everyone in the medical field knows I'm talking about real RNs who possess BSNs and are not the equivalent of orderlies. I noticed you're not saying anything about software developers...

Anyway, you're entitled to your opinion, however incorrect it is. Rock on Garth.

Yes, there's a significant pay difference between the nurses with associate degrees and the ones with bachelor's degrees.

I used to be an underwriter & mortgage lender and Nurses had the worst credit out of all of the professions.
I haven't been impressed with nurses as longer term dating material in recent times.

Back in the era of the GI Generation/Silents/Boomers, a male from those generational group could have an LTR with/marry a woman who was a nurse and get a solid longer term girlfriend or wife. Even the nurses that came out of Gen X weren't that bad as longer term options, though less good than GI/Silent/Boomer nurses.

The Millennial nurses have been total shiit as LTR options.

I can make a random statement like software engineers start at 250k. But you have to work for google, and live in a 50 mile radius of San Jose. See how pointless that statement is? It contributes nothing to the conversation.

A localized market will have adjusted salaries for its specific cost of living. On average, the guys in the OP are very unusual for anyone living outside of hyper concentrated regions of wealth in this country, specifically the Bay Area and NYC.

The estimated cost of living in Miami is approximately 30% lower than in San Francisco. This calculation is based on a comparative index where San Francisco is used as a baseline (100%), and Miami's cost of living is estimated at around 70% of San Francisco's. So, adjusted for living costs, I am unsure what you guys are belly-aching about.

p.s. Boston just sucks arse: The estimated cost of living in Boston is approximately 10% lower than in San Francisco. This estimation is based on a comparison where San Francisco's cost of living index is set as a baseline at 100%, and Boston's index is estimated to be around 90% of San Francisco's.

@Solomon

What exactly does your dream of financial success, freedom or whatever you want to call it look like to you? Meaning, how do you see yourself living, what type of lifestyle, etc.? What types of people do you want to be associating with? blah blah blah lol
What it looks like is me getting into the industry that I want (which I won't share here) on my terms, being able to travel and help people not just in my family but also in my community in the forms of job creation among other things. As you and I have discussed before hard times are coming and with hyperinflation and the potential loss of jobs due to the rise of AI, many folks are going to need help even with just basic necessities

My ideal lifestyle would be to live on a farm or ranch with my future wife and living of the land, eventually maybe even moving away from America to somewhere else. I have no desire to become wealthy and blow money on clubs and partying been there and done that, as a guy who is older now I want to focus on helping family, friends, and my community and spread the gospel of Christ!

I've been noticing a trend with young(ish) men that have discussed their desires to retire early, get out of the rat race or even pseudo check out from society. This is a feeling I've had within my self for a long time now as well, though I felt I was an outlier until not that long ago. There was a guy I knew from the gym, haven't seen him since the summer of 2023, that was around 26-27 at the time and he mentioned something about how he wanted to retire by 45 so he could "play video games and workout out" lol. There was another guy I knew around 40 that quit a very high paying engineering job working for a defense contractor and instead decided to get into homesteading. He had made some comment about how he did not want to be working for a company that created technology that was ultimately going to kill people.

I personally like working but I have a job that is very laid back and flexible, so in a way I consider myself pseudo retired. I want to just go to the gym, go hiking and maybe do some travelling. I have 0 interest in clubs/bars, fancy cars, expensive stuff of any sort.
