Idk, a minor league baseball game might not be bad, but I haven't tried it.
No. I thought about it a minute. Terrible idea. Too many issues that could pop up. Parking lot traffic, losing each other in large crowds, diarrhea inducing hotdogs, potentially loud depending on the game.
Minor league or non-major college sports (college volleyball, college soccer, etc) have the potential to be decent early stage dates. There have even been advice articles touting them as possible decent early stage dates. It wouldn't work as a first date arranged via swipe app or social media DM in any circumstance. It's more of a possible 2nd or 3rd date but I still wouldn't even do it as a 2nd or 3rd, regardless of the method used for the 1st date.
The issues that you identified are real considerations and would be bad even on a 2nd or 3rd date.
Sports game attendance might be more of an established couple date, even the lower cost minor league or non-major college sports events. Even though something like college volleyball might be free admission at a nearby college, there are still better options out there for an early stage date.
Tinder or any other dating app should compliment your dating life. Its an asset you have in the background. You dont put all your money just on OLD, you'll also try to find women other ways.
Perhaps you'll find 10 women a year through OLD, 5 in real life/social activities, 5 through forced day game ect.
I 100% get Luciano's take though. If you cant handle the slow pace of OLD, ditch it and go out in the real world to meet women. The energy ( rejection, succes, effort, energy) will be the exact same so you might as well be out in the field. Otherwise OLD is running on the background silently, providing you with the occasional dime piece now and then.
There's a school of thought out there for beginner to intermediate guys to focus on one form of Game and get really good at that form before moving on to other forms of Game. Learning Game solely on the swipe apps is going to be a bad experience. Day game, night game, and online game are all different skill sets.
Most men won't get a dime piece from online, especially the swipe apps. A dime piece could happen from Instagram DMs but also unlikely. It's so difficult to slide into DMs and get a response.
Day game can have a slow possible. It's possible to try to do a 2 hour approach session outdoors and get in only 2-3 approaches that go nowhere. It's possible to feel online has a faster pace because you can swipe through hundreds of women in the same time as a 2 hour day game session and you can do that from the comfort of home without showering or looking presentable, as you'd need to do for a day game session.
