Had to come back to this thread. Watched some football today and went to a local bar to see the Eagles and 49ers game. Did not feel like gaming since I broke my NoFap a day or so ago and so I watched football instead, tells you about how I watch the sport when I feel beta. Right next to me at the bar are a couple, both 9ers fans. Dude is a skinny white guy and the woman is a chubby Latina. Both are from California and I am only a drink in while these two have had a few. Secretly rooting for the Eagles but tbh, I don't even care.

Talk to the couple as the woman opens me and I am nice to them. I keep chatting and making small talk, making sure to include the guy in the convo and everything. However, the woman is like super nice to me and even starts touching my arms at which point I am a bit uncomfortable. I see the rage in the dude's eyes and then I tell them about how I have a girlfriend who is out of town and I am rooting for the Eagles because of her.

Guy, who is somewhat drunk, talks to me about finding the right one. Says his wife dated 3 other guys in his high school and college days but he never gave up. Then he says after her college days when she broke up with her college boyfriend, he was there and he knew since high school she would be the one. I smiled and then she smiled too but it looked very forced. Then she went to go use the restroom and then the next thing I know, the guy turns to me and gets somewhat confrontational.

"Hey buddy, you need to leave," he said.

"Uh excuse me?" I asked.

"No seriously, you need to stop talking to my girl," he said.

"How about I just watch the game, you and your girl talk to each other, and let that be that?" I replied.

"Uh, buddy, you need to ****ing leave!" he said.

"No," I replied, giving him that stare.

"Leave! LEAVE NOW!" he said.

The bartender comes over and asks if something is wrong. Then the guy turns to the bartender and says I am being disruptive. I tell them I am not being disruptive at all but one bartender who had overheard the whole convo says "well when your wife was here sir it all seemed fine", this bartender knows me. The guy then shouts at the bartender and says "stop taking sides motherf*cker, STOP TAKING SIDES!". Like he shouts to the point the bar hears it. I look at the bartenders and say "look, I'll change seats" at which point the guy looks at me and says "yeah! Your d*mn right!".

Then I couldn't help it and said "didn't have to wait as long for that as you did for your girl to say yes". He gets mad, tosses his plate around, and lunges at me but I dodged. Luckily, the bouncer is in the vicinity and restrains him. The woman comes out and says "oh no not again! NOT AGAIN!". Looks at her husband and says "it's the third time this year!" while shouting at him and he starts crying, she gives him those raging mean eyes.....

I just sit there and then they get escorted out. Guy is shouts in the direction of me and the bartender and says "I will kill you!" but his woman says "you won't do sh*t, you can't even get it up!" at which point the bartenders start laughing along with everyone near them trying to hold in a laugh.

Somehow that brought me back to this thread, both 49ers fans too and the Niners lost.
Why even try to mack a chubby chick?

Watching it to pass time, No. Almost alpha in a sense that your being "entertained."

Obsessing over it to where it affects other parts of you life or dresing up (cheer leading), yes extremely weak (beta).

The one thing personally I always felt was beta is watching sports with you gf, especially football.

But at the end date do waht you want, this "alpha" and "beta" stuff is played out at this point in 2023. Everyone is on a moving spectrum when it comes to the 2 polar opposites.

And now's its time for the Super Bowl.

Somewhere in a man's late 20s-early 30s, Super Bowl parties tend to become relationship litmus tests, like New Year's Eve. Men in committed relationships think it's mandatory to bring their girlfriends/wives to Super Bowl parties. A lot of Super Bowl party hosts are married men or men living with their girlfriends.

Interesting observation.

I don't think I have ever attended a Super Bowl party at a single man's house/apartment. I would say 95% of them were a couple's apartment/house, and the remaining 5% believe it or not were a single chick who invites a lot of people over to her place. So this does seem to be the case.

In 2012-2014, when my local social circle had fewer couples, I attended Super Bowl parties in unattached/marginally attached men's apartments. In 2013-2014, these parties were in 2 bedroom apartments that were more spacious. I can only recall one man bringing his girlfriend to the 2013 party. Even if men in the circle had girlfriends at that time, they mostly weren't bringing them to Super Bowl parties.

In 2015, everything changed in my social circle and everyone started bringing their girlfriends to parties. That 2015 party was fucckin' insane. Some of the girlfriends (later wives) in my social circle are biatches. Additionally, there were 2 intense male battles for certain girlfriends in the circle, creating some messy dynamics within the group. The presence of the girlfriends irked me. They didn't need to be there.

I stopped going to our social circle's Super Bowl parties and eventually the circle stopped having them. The Patriots-Rams Super Bowl (53) in 2019 was the last one that my primary local social circle had.

Lol I feel bad for that dude because just by his actions, you can tell how shvtty his life really is. I imagine his employment situation isn't ideal, but his wife is obviously monkey branching or cheating on him and the only cling to happiness he had was getting destroyed on TV in front of him.

PS I'm going for Mahomes

That is one crazy story! Even as an overweight Latina, that woman is still finding a lot of side penis if her husband isn't able to sustain an erection.

Also, this is why it is futile to get so triggered by couples you see outside in public. You have zero idea what is going on between them outside the grocery store, gym, bar, or wherever you saw them.

Kyle Shanahan is a phucking gamma. To be fair this arrogant, insecure douche enraged a lot of people on Sunday.

No need for the refs to play favorites when you have the worst coaching performance in championship game history because the gamma coach is forever desperate to prove to the world how "smart" he is.

Great concept!

“Football, beer, and above all, gambling filled up the horizon of their minds. To keep them in control was not difficult…” George Orwell, '1984'

"In America, it is sport that is the opiate of the masses." - Julius Evola, 'Ride the Tiger'

"Only women and losers watch TV" - Pook, 'So Suave'

Do you catch my drift?

ummm why lol. You know how many times I have fvcked my GFs during half time lol.
I guess I should have worded that different. What I meant was that you shouldn't make it a date, like "this thursday I want to watch the game with you."

Duncan "Dicck" Ebersol was the President of NBC Sports from 1989-2011, was involved in the production of ABC's Monday Night Football in the early 1970s, and a cuckold. As a childless man in the early 1980s and a producer for Saturday Night Live, he was in his early 30s and married Susan Saint James. Susan was one year older and had 2 kids from a prior marriage.

If the President of NBC Sports was in a committed relationship with a single mom, isn't that good evidence that sports watching/broadcasting is a beta male thing?

Play sports, don't watch them.
