I think we are living through a genetic bottle era. There were a lot of women in the past who didn't care for sex or kids, but they would have destitute without a husband, so they put up with it; now these womyn can choose not to have kids and still make it. The good thing is that Evolution will be culling these non-maternal instincts out of the population.
I agree. There is some of that. But like u say, evolution will be culling that trait out of the gene pool since these women will not be reproducing. After all, ending alone without kids and being destitute without kids is the same thing to darwinism.

This would mean in the future more women in the population will actually want to have kids for having kids instead of having kids to avoid being destitute. Win/win I would think.

However, for most women today I think they do want a family. The "happiness rating" for women are at the lowest in years. They just have been brain washed into riding the carousel.

I'm not so sure it's the "carousel" but more the "corporation".

Take away the "carousel" but keep the "corporation", would there be more married/LTR? I think so. Without the "carousel"; what else are people to do after work? Probably just have LTR or more marriages.

Take away the "corporation", but still have the "carousel", I still think there would be less married people and less people in LTR - they are too busy dating each other and having sex because of all the free time; they don't have to work anymore.

Also, I think there are more girls that work "service" related jobs than there are girls working in the "corporation". While the combination of "carousel" and "corporation" do work in tandem to create more cat ladies; I think the "carousel" is the major factor.

The only exception, would be women that are teachers. In a way, they have sort of ‘adopted’ their students and it sort of sucks the fun out of going out with them.
Yeah, I'm sure they're feeling a lot of responsibility having to teach all those kids to be gay.

Interesting that you would say this. A little over 10 years ago, I dated a woman who was a kindergarten teacher.

While in the school library, she pulled a random book to read to the students. Halfway through this book, it was evident the storyline involved dinosaurs both male that were adopting a baby dinosaur.

She was shocked, but maintained composure. Once she realized the theme, she ad-libbed the rest of the story to make it appear more age appropriate/suitable.

Now days it would be required reading, or she'd be changing the story to make it more LGBTQ.

It's definitely over for the dinosaurs.

I've known a few women that actually are VERY into their career (a family friend of mine fits this bill and she is a VERY well educated & accomplished person) and it's genuine. They live for the work they do and are very good at it. Unquestionably most were single for a good part of their adult life and are REALLY difficult to date. If you are looking for an ltr (as I know some guys on here are from what I've read) these aren't really the kind of women you should go after; ladder climbers in general are to be avoided. They will always consider their work more important and then comes issues of incompatibility when it comes to drive, money (if she is more ambitious and makes more than you). They say this doesn't matter but it's b.s.

I think ideally you want to be in the position of displaying "strength" - you want her to look up to you.
As a man who has been working white collar, office jobs for ~15 years, I've seen plenty of career oriented women. They are annoying. Most career women are not dateable for an extended period of time. If you're a good seducer, somewhat patient, and you don't desire longer term arrangements, you can get some short term sex out of career women. You need to be somewhat patient because certain types of career women prioritize their work stuff over getting together with you.

I've desired more extended relationships so I don't have patience for career oriented women.

Take away the "carousel" but keep the "corporation", would there be more married/LTR? I think so. Without the "carousel"; what else are people to do after work? Probably just have LTR or more marriages.

The women working "service" jobs aren't frequently careerists. Women working as waitresses and retail store workers aren't careerists. It's the woman working the white collar, office jobs that's the careerist. The woman who works a service sector job is more dateable if you can make things work with her schedule. It's often difficult for the white collar working male to make it work in terms of schedules with service sector females.

Are the carousel riding females more white collar, office working females with bachelor's degrees or more? Or, are the carousel riding females in other lines of work, including trades (such as dental hygienists, medical assistants)? Nurses seem different from the HR/Marketing type females out there too.

I almost said, unless you count the birds. Hey, I watched Jurassic Park.
Obviously, you hadn't listened to the professor, who made mentions about the link to birds (he did it when the duck-billed dinosaurs were running away from a hungry T-Rex).

I heard it. Honestly, I often think about dinosaurs when I look at birds. But the big house sized variety? It's over for them.

Problem is in today's society that's a fantasy for most women because as @Pan87 said, women are being forced to work, due to the sheer number of men who are not able to adequately financially support a woman but also who if/when they die, fail to leave adequate resources for her and/or their children to survive on.
Things are way more expensive than they used to be. Now you need two incomes to buy a nice house (or any house in some places), go on nice vacations, etc.

If you want to talk, talk to your friends. If you want a girl to like you, listen to her, ask questions, and act like you are on the edge of your seat.

The fact that women WANT to work 40 hours a week seems absolutely pathological to me. Who would CHOOSE to pursue a “career” if they didn’t HAVE TO. It makes no sense, it reveals something about the confusion with “progressive” views of society.
That's how much they loathe betas.

I think this ^ has merit at least on some level and here's why.

I recall as a young girl, fantasizing about marrying a man, not having to work other than work on staying beautiful for him, cooking elaborate meals (or having someone else cook or go out), greeting him with his favorite alcoholic bev after getting home from a busy day at work, and afterwards heading to bedroom (or wherever lol) and having hot sex for the duration of the night!

Problem is in today's society that's a fantasy for most women because as @Pan87 said, women are being forced to work, due to the sheer number of men who are not able to adequately financially support a woman but also who if/when they die, fail to leave adequate resources for her and/or their children to survive on.

Also women are being told (by society and men) they are "less than" and "lazy" if they don't work outside the home. Pull their own weight.

As a woman I've encountered many men who place a lot of value on my education, my job, my financial status.

More so than whether or not I want kids. Many men I meet actually DON'T want kids themselves surprisingly.

It's been a slow process but this mindset is trickling down into society, and imo infecting it.

This was said in another thread but no one knows their roles anymore, women becoming men, and men becoming women.

Men are even bearing their own children now with the help of science, parents are raising their kids gender-less, it's getting crazy!
if women stopped working wages would increase. Supply and demand.
