Are minimalist/frugal lifestyles always a turn-off for women?

I don't own a car right now, and my apartment is very minimally furnished. I only have a loveseat, kitchen table/dining chairs, gaming computer/desk, and two worn down leather chairs. I don't even have a bed frame or box spring - just a king mattress on the floor (and no it's not a studio apt). I have a 12 year old basic LED TV that I connect to my gaming computer as a secondary monitor for watching downloaded movies/shows (no streaming services). I have only basic kitchenwear (one plate, a few bowls, only 2-3 of each utensil...) No lamps, no decoration, literally nothing else. I have a few nice shirts and pants, a couple nice pairs of shoes, but almost no other clothing besides workout/lounge stuff. That said, my apartment building is actually a nice high rise in a fantastic location with a good view.

How many women, with their superficial/consumerist mindset, would see a problem with all of this? Once I move later this year I do plan on getting some more things, including a car, but until then I zero intention of getting anything else.

Yes.

Women consume and take. They can’t wrap their lizard brain around your desire to do the opposite.
^ This. This is a concern of my gf's all the time. She complains I do not buy or ask for anything. I said I have what I need. After awhile, excess stuff is a waste. It a concern of her's she said. I see I said. This is my lifestyle. I do not l like to buy things which do not produce a return or enhance my life in any meaningful way. If you are not inline with this, no problem, you're welcome to leave. She shut up.

Moral of the story is, live your life for you, not other people. I do splurge on good quality meat though. Got this sick water cooler which filters the water 7 stages as well. Those are my splurges. Those and buying rental properties.

The economy is called the sheconomy because it's usually females who spend frivolously, not dudes. Right now, we have very little checks and balances in the system. Females, in general, vote the people in power and guide a lot of spending.

Nah I have no problems with women but to pretend that most of them aren't materialistic is naive. Even men may look down on this sort of lifestyle.

They really are insane. It is a problem that you don’t share her desire to consume. Incredible…
So true dude. That's why, while she has no debt, she spends a lot of her salary and I really don't. It's also why she makes more than me, in theory (salary, not investment/rental income), yet I have more in my bank account that her's. I have access to her accounts, she doesn't have access to mine. She asked me to get her on a budget plan, so I did. She does have a higher credit score than me. 822 to 838.

Lots of people literally go out of their way to create a desire for something. If they don't want something, they find a reason why they should want it. Doesn't seem occur to them that removing/preventing the desire is even an option.

As a man the outside world determines your value by your ability to provide or “earn”.
A woman's value is in her appearance, so in order for her to keep up she needs to spend on herself.

This is how I would partially describe a female shopper. They’re emotional buyers. It’s why they spend so much time shopping clothing, it not only needs to be stylish, fit well, and be good looking, but she has to find something that makes her feel good emotionally.
This same female emotional imperative also applies to her surroundings regarding furnishings.

minimalist does not display strength. women do not care about what is inside the man, only what is outside and can be talked about in a way that their competitors will be jealous of. this requires that the man display something(money, looks, status).

Although I think you should up your game a little so you look a bit more organised. Full crockery set, Proper bed etc

I have no problem with Minimalism

I intend to move onto a Boat by the end of the year in the UK, they've doubled our electric bills over here. housing rent has gone up 20%, poxy houses are now 200k to buy.

I intend to have a smart barge for around 40k, and I will pillage of the land for firewood and fruit. with one supermarket shop a week.

I couldnt give a solitary f*ck what women think.

Im not jaded, Im a single dad, & experienced

Assuming you earn a decent salary and have a good amount of money in the bank, no woman will have a problem with your lifestyle.

Any woman interested in you will be very happy to redecorate your home and fill your home up with her stuff.:rofl::lol:

My gf appreciates that I simply don't buy much in the way of anything. She says she wishes she could be better at not spending money, but then she goes out and buys crap she doesn't need.

I have seen some women who are into minimalism, but they're pretty rare.

Minalism plus some cool stuff would play ok. Maybe a nice escooter. Or a boat or whatever you re into. The no crockery and mattress on the floor sounds like a crack house. I can't imagine a second hand bed frame would cost or harm the planet much.

Aside from status issues, they may see it as an indicator that you're not going to be willing to spending money on her and/or the relationship (dining out, vacations, travel, etc)

Hi Hamilton,"Are minimalalist/frugal lifestyles a turn off for Women?"...Well let's say,not all, just as there are minority views in Men so they find their reflection in the Females...This lifestyle would seem to hold few attractions for a Don Juan as the Women who gravitate towards it,do so out of a rejection of their privileged backgrounds....Goes with celibacy, butch crew cuts,Yoga,Feminism and Muesli...If that's your thing,Go for it!

The answer will depend on many variables.
For instance; the young 'bohemian' type girls will usually not care.. but they are just going through a phase and usually end up like their consumer-minded parents.

For older women, a lot depends on the type of women that you attract.
To give an example; my cars and place are paid for, but I do not live in posh area, nor are my cars new (I swear by the over engineering 1990's Japanese cars). I have money, but most people wouldn't know it. I do not 'buy' into fads, trends or items to seek approval of others.

The women that I consider 'datable' (which is different than women I'd only desire to sleep with) are cool with it. They probably don't like or understand it, but women with some substance will seem to tolerate it.
