If one just wants to pump and dump... Just lie.
Women lie like crazy about their careers. I went on a date with one who was a waitress who moved from Ohio. Was a state trooper there then decided to move to FL lol. Found it odd. She said cause she had a couple relatives down here but waits tables because she said law enforcement paid too low. I went on the net and since it's public info listed it said she made 52k a year. But then I read more and saw she was named in a federal lawsuit. A prisoner she took in on a stop was beaten and she was being sued. I'm guessing she resigned or was forced to retire. I asked her why she didn't become a cop down here and she said pay was too low. State trooper yea, but even the local departments didn't pay a lot lower than that. Still better than waiting tables and with her experience of 15 years they would have snatched her right away.

Just tell her, but in a direct and flat tone without emotion.

"I am responsible for -----------------------", but my passion is about "insert something about you that you do like and its ok for her to ask about".

it's easy to look up the average expected income for different ages. 40 years old grilling burgers (UNLESS its your store) is not attractive. everyone is a gold digger, that's why we all dig for gold. accept it. good news is that this is one of the things you can do something about.

on the profile, you can just tell "earn enough money" or "have enough money". if she then asks, use the "I am responsible for.......".

if it's just for short time, just lie and be ready to support the lie some.

You can just say the general idea of what you do without being specific about company or position.

For example I am a B2B salesman. Next week I might switch jobs to being a Non-profit/charity Fundraiser.
Before this I told people I was an Investor (read: I made a lot of money swing trading Dogecoin and holding other Cryptos and Meme stocks like AMC last summer)

My primary concern whenever it comes to work is trying to make my job sound interesting/exciting and not dull and boring like most jobs are. But naturally a date isn't the place to talk about work anyway, dates are for fun.

Holy crap, now that sounds like an interesting story to tell.

Red flag that she may be a violent psycho though lol.

I can definitely understand why she definitely wouldn't want to tell people that she is or was being sued for police brutality.

Nah, she wasn't the violent type. Very nice on the date but a bit on the bi polar side maybe. She was interested about going out again but went off on me about texting her about our next date cause she just got back in town and said i was being a jerk cause i wanted to set a time. Said it sucked because she said she liked me but said i act like a jerk.

First of all thanks to anyone for the feedback, this is something really annoying for a guy in his mid 30s to deal with.

When I'm talking with a woman and she comes up talking about work, it already pisses me off, even more if the keeps asking...wasnt happening while dealing with girls in their 20s while its the norm with women in their early 30s...guess they need a security/utility service provider.

This really annoys me cause I want the attraction to be raw and natural, Im not negotiating unless we talk about rate per hour and agreed performance in advance.

I tried to give random vague answers but b1tches keep asking, even the ridicule answer to move the topic doesnt work as good.

I'm not poor and I basically dont need to count what I spend as long as I dont plan to live like a celebrity yet I dont wanna F talk about it, its personal especially since I struggled in past just like I had countless problems from my family and surelly dont wanna talk about it.

I mean I also would like to know if a girl swallows, gives ass or her body count but I have the decency not to insist...thats basically how we evaluate potential partners.
I don't mind talking about work once we have the swallowing part out of the way (it's going to come up at some point anyway). But if she forces the subject right away and digs for details it's annoying AF and is an obvious red flag.
