To where? Prostitution is illegal everywhere in the US except Nevada. A guy who’s not having luck with women in one state won’t see his fortunes change in another.

It depends. For example if he's Asian or Indian those might do better in a large metro like NYC instead of a suburb.

Is it illegal on paper, or is it actually enforced? In Canada it's illegal on paper, but its never enforced in a way that it would feel illegal. The US is probably the same thing. You have to look at how the police departments policy is with enforcement in different jurisdictions and what police are targeting.

I wouldn't use a prostitute here, but I don't like entertaining false beliefs about how police operate. There are lots of laws in the States, and I'm sure any citizen could get arrested and charged with something if the police had it in for someone.

What part of the US do you live? Is there a minimum sentence involved? Is this being enforced equitably regardless of race and status? What about indoor set-ups involving websites, with backdoor arrangements (ie you are paying for someone's company, massage, or some soft type of thing that's not really prostitution)? What about meeting via OF/Tinder or some other online site?

It sounds like you are heavily focused on the street scene and doing things in the car which is very awkward. As I said before, I don't deal with prostitutes here either, but any reason for not dealing with them has nothing to do with the police or laws. The way I have interacted with prostitutes in 2014 was in such a shy way that if it were a sting, they wouldn't have anything on me to suggest I was even looking to buy sex since I just acted lost and stupid.

Prior to 2014, on the street-scene, there was never any communication of sex. You basically make eye-contact, drive around a few times, and then she'll make some signal with her hand, you go near her, and she just bolts into your car. You'd have to drive off, or keep the door locked in order to not have a total stranger just bold into your car!

So, I guess the way I have operated, I don't see how anyone gets arrested in stings of prostitutes without even communicating anything about wanting to have sex or pay for it. At least I don't think they would behave like that. (...and no, I liked curb-crawling around for kicks, but never went that far since they are mainly druggies or looked unstable).

GO to an asian massage parlor and get happy endings/blow jobs. I won't have intercourse with a hooker. If you're at least average looking 5/10 male you can get slump busters off dating apps. I've never tried online dating, but reading this forum I got the impression unless you were Chad it was a waste of time.
But it also appears that apps seem to be the main way most people hook up these days.
I suppose real life interactions have become too dangerous, what with #MeToo and all.

If I'm ever in a college town, I know there are almost always tons of honies at the bars and on campus. Aside from minor dust-ups in the past between clueless PUA's and campus security, college campuses have always been great if you are discrete enough and basically socially normal (which sadly and obviously most pua's are not).

Unfortunately, most campuses are now "closed" or at least restricted meaning you cannot access any building or event without a mask and/or vax card/phone code.

Several local bars have either closed down or have scaled back hours significantly so "bar hopping" is scaled down or no longer happening. In larger metro areas, you also need to mask and have vax "proof" to access businesses indoors.

Meetup has scaled back at least 70% or more for in-person meetups.

Not only have the quantity of social events taken a severe hit, but the quality has dipped precipitously: what's the point of going to a park of 90% of the people are wearing masks and sunglasses? That's just sick and bizarre.

There was a small respite this summer but it was as short as a couple of weeks or a month as most large cities and even entire states are fake mandating masks again.

So back to the question, what reasons do we have to be optimistic about dating in the near future?

what about websites? or how far are you from another state? soliciting, curb crawling, brothels etc are illegal in Uk, but cash for sex is legal. so just have to avoid driving around known areas really, which isn't a great idea anyway as tends to be the low end of prostitutes.

not that it's my thing, did it once 3 years ago (someone online), looked good in photos, went to a house a nice suburban area (which I assume she rented) and didn't enjoy it at all to be honest. was sober and too aware of what I was doing and didn;t sit right with me. fair play to men who enjoy it, would prefer to have a w**k alone . She was one of the most expensive on the site too in my area, which had 100's to choose from. Dating App=Chads playground. With that being said theres nothing wrong with throwing up a profile and playing passive game. You need low expectations and dont take any of the women seriously. Good for slumpbusters, but if youre below 6 feet and average face you aint pulling no hotties. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a conman.

Pandemic nor lack down hasn't stopped me. Girls while more complacent are less reactive than they were in wave one. Again, game equals compliance. Approach. Bait and switch. Test compliance and pull.

I'm not concerned with my dating experience. A lot of men should be. They don't approach and they can't pull. They watch rp bloggers for hrs and buy programs. They get no results and have no receipts like their gurus.

It is uncommon that moving from one city to another drastically changes dating outcomes. If you move, there have be to be other reasons besides dating for the move or you are moving from a small town (less than 100,000 population) to a mid-sized (100-700k) or larger metro area. It's tough to date in towns/cities of less than 100,000 when you are 25 or older.
