How frequently to start spending time and calling/texting with a woman you have just begun dating?

My age is wrong, need to update. I'm actually 38 but still, why can't I want a relationship? I did the hookup thing for a while and, while there were great thrills, it felt empty and unfulfilling after a while. I'd rather be in a happy relationship.

You can be in a relationship, but at your age the women dont care about men, they care about the man’s resources.

If you want a relationship, you have to get the woman pregnant. Anything else, you better be beta for a relationship.

Interesting, a month or 2 ago when I started a thread asking about texting girls; the overwhelming response I got from fellow DJs is a string no. Everyone said texting was only for logistics. Now, the attitude seems to be that texting is fine and if we don't text, we lose out. Now I'm confused.

Somewhere in the middle, in the beginning keep light contact between the 2, short and fun interactions til you meet in person. After a while, she should be the one initiating the texting and the pursuing.
