that we can't be sure, I had employeers(bussiness owners) refuse legal advice, because it was "cheap" to do what they was doing, also note sometimes company do things like this because even if one or two do sue it and they lost it would still be cheap then doing by the book.

I'm against employers requiring the vax in 99% of cases but, in my ltc facility, I had to fire 3 people for not getting the vaccine. We had 50+ deaths (and many more long term complications) because of COVID and I cannot fathom anyone who worked through that time who would want to risk it again.

I do think bedside healthcare workers should get vaccinated or find other work. Part of the bargain when you sign up.

Respect for standing your ground. That takes a lot of courage & strength to stand up to the beast. I can only imagine the pressure having a family and all. When 1 door closes another opens. What they did is against the law. A business cannot mandate a "non approved" vaxxx and they're fully aware of that. They know 95% of people won't fight back, let alone file a lawsuit. They use fear as their weapon, when you don't submit to the beast, you're punished.

I'm seeing a massive amount of lawsuits already taking place. There is large groups of employees at business's & Hospitals that are coming together like a small army to fight the beast. Hasn't anyone had their eyes open this past year to see how everyone from the Gov to business's like this are all connected like a giant spider web? All of them are breaking the law to some to degree, while some are committing crimes against humanity. These Demons are foaming at the mouth to get the shot approved before 2 years so they can mandate it. They kill whoever is in their way to get what they want. We are nothing but surface dwellers in their eyes, while they site comfortably in their underground world.

It's not a Vaxx, not approved, nor does it protect you from catching or spreading rona. Firing someone for not wanting to be a lab rat who could potentially die is where we're at in society. And people don't think we're at war.

Working in one of Mr Bezos's facilities where the Covid hysteria has been turned up to 11,
I applaud the OP for making a stand. I have (despite painting a target on my own by back doing so)
only played along with the bare minimum of their 'precautions'. As employees they would like us to
test weekly at our in-house facility, I asked if it was mandatory as I didn't feel like my employer had
any right asking me to stick a swab up my nose 4 times a month. Result - taken off of their list. I am
literally the only one there who has stood up to that. I do have to wear a mask on shift which is fine as
they supply them and it costs me nothing to do so other than a little discomfort behind the ears from
the straps. We have cameras in our warehouse that can auto detect if those masks are worn over both
nose and mouth or not. We have other cameras which detect our proximity to other workers, we are
displayed on huge screens with a circle superimposed around our feet, kind of like in a sports video
game to show you which player you are controlling. If two circles overlap an alarm literally sounds.
Our temperature is monitored constantly as well by other, other cameras. You get the idea...

We have solitary screened off cubicles with a single chair and table and a smorgasbord of different
wipes and gels and whatnot in which to take our whopping 30 minute break. Socialisation is discouraged
even though a great many of us workers car share in order to get there, the hypocrisy is strong. We have
SDA's or Social Distancing Ambassadors who walk around for the entire shift carrying a two metre plastic
stick and are expected to intervene if two people have the sheer gall to physically work together despite
a great many of the things we handle being heavy 'team lift' items, they don't seem to mind then.
Like I said, the hypocrisy is strong. I have also ignored the UK's NHS and their attempts to stick their needle
in me despite their barrage of texting and letter writing, I have never had the UK track and trace app on my
phone and have turned the Apple version pre loaded to my iphone to OFF. When using a bar or restaurant
I simply say I have no phone or have left it at home and then supply a fake name and number for their records.
Or, I just pretend to scan the QR code. Half of the reason we are all having to endure this BS is because the vast
majority are playing along and giving them all that power in the first place. If we all 'tipped them bollocks' as
they say in my part of London then what could they really do to make us...? Keep fighting the right fight OP,

........ , and it makes it seem like we COULD find common ground sometimes (and do), but that awful attitude that TheFinalLine described is still there waiting to tear people down. That is my biggest problem with so many liberals, it isn't all of their logic, it's just their awful, sh*tty attitude to anyone who doesn't agree with them. Many reasons for it, and I won't get into all of them here.

@Lookatu, back to your situation, you might talk to a lawyer, that's really all the advice I have, just to see if you can stick it to this dumb company. Outside of that, I'd say get a job with someone better, and for God's sake, move to a red state like most other reasonable people. You might wait for awhile, because the housing markets are out of control in the red states, because everybody wants to come here/there.

There is close to 0% chance that we have not been exposed to Covid over the last 15 months. In addition, we never locked down/shelter in place. We went to bars, casinos, restraunts, flew on aircraft, took boat trips. Hotels. Public transit... in addition to dealing with confirmed Covid pts. It is a near certantity we have been exposed.

Everyone has been exposed. But depending on the amount of time and masking the viral load might not have been enough to infect. You can always test for antibodies for proof though. I feel a positive test would be akin to a vaccination for healthcare workers.

I'm glad you made it though but I want you and other hcw to get vaccinated for your patients even more than yourselves. I already had employees who completely and purposely ignored distancing and masking during the pandemic and murdered (yeah I said it) our residents. We have a chance you keep that from happening again and if I have to fire people who refuse to sacrifice a little bit for our residents, you know, UPS is hiring.
