Anyone watch WW84?

I've rarely gone to the theater alone. The only time in recent memory that I saw a movie alone was Avengers Age of Ultron back in 2015. I went to an early showing (I always go to matinees, they're cheaper lol), and I have to say I enjoyed going by myself so much that I said I was going to have to do that more often, but I never did. Oh well. I like the popcorn, but it isn't exactly health food.

Fair enough. The last movie I watched alone was Glass (2019). Looked at it in the center of an almost empty theater infront an true ultra-wide screen screen. (I knew this because I saw pillar-boxes on some of the ads on the screen). I re-watched Age of Ultra on a digital projector last year.

It's more about the principle of paying that much for something I'm used to using a free coupon I get every month as a benefit for GeekSquad tech support. Eventually this will be on standard rates and I could apply a coupon to watch it for free for only a few month wait. Eventually it will be in a streaming service but it won't be until much later in the next year (but seeing that service itself costs $20/mo - but I whether or not I subscribe depends on my financial situation at the time. I'm currently subscribed and have a huge back-log of movies/TV shows that I had intended to see earlier.)

While it's true I live at home, I'm straddled with expenses all over the place. It's more like a family team where we all share common income and expenses. The car costs are close to like $ 1,000 per month, and there are other expenses here as well. Just because I'm living at home doesn't mean I'm living for free.

I've determined that my financial situation is such that a $ 30 cost can be absorbed and I'm not feeling like I'm stealing anything by paying to rent. The reason I paid the rental in the first place was I was borderline going to torrent or use a VPN to subscribe to HBO-Max in Canada, or talk to my American relatives and use a free trial VPM. However, to shut myself up from all that I paid the rental as a deal to keep all that quiet. In fact, if I do any of your suggested actions now, I'll just open the movie that I rented rather than try to steal and watch it for free. I've alienated with my own cousin who watches movies for free because of this policy. But I've always (post-2014) either rented (normally using that free Geek-squad coupon), purchased or borrowed (a third-party library paid for it so that free is okay).

I get that. My main issue is as a Christian if my soul can bear the movie. If there is too many f-bombs or blasphemy, or extreme realistic violence, then it could be an issue. So far WW84 looks like a clean movie or I would have already refunded it.

I do borrow from the library and I have a portable dvd/blueray player with 10" screen(went up in size by 3" TyTe 'EyEz if you still come back reading here on sosuave, lol)

The cd-rom sleeve in my laptop doesn't work and so my laptop's been at my cold house the last few years, unused.

Isn't there overdrive app or libby or something to watch movies and read books from the library? Cellphone screen is too small.
