Here is a long but very thorough explanation of why low carb diets are not all they are cracked up to be. Especially when talking long term.
Yes, we've all heard the carb controversy. Let's clear all that up. We'll share the truth about high-carb and low-carb diets. We'll even help you find the right amount of carbs...for you.

They referenced 11? journal articles I screenshotted to look up in the future.
There's a temp. machine at work because of covid anxiety and it always measures me low.
So I googled what does low body temp mean?
Diabetes or thyroid problems.
I am not diabetic but wonder about my thyroid. I mean to go buy a thermometer soon to start tracking basal temp.s at home.
So this article helped me feel selfrighteous. I know myself and when I restrict carbs too low for too long I fail and start binging on the crappy high fructose corn syrup/lower grade wheat crop carbs.
I do feel best with no chronic inflammatory symptoms when I eliminate wheat entirely from my plan although I've tested negative twice for allergy/intolerance to wheat and gluten.
However my energy levels were low the last time I gave up wheat entirely 2016/2017 and it was the author Kathleen Desmaisons who suggested in an email reply to me in her yahoo email group that I wasn't taking in enough good carbs to replace the wheat carbs I gave up.
I'm going to reread this, I got excited and started speed reading it.
