Due to the Rona, a lot of people are fearful to go to gyms where weights are. Are body weight exercises an acceptable substitute? I think body weight exercises are likely better than cardio.
I hear you. No, body weight exercises are generally insufficient. It’s harder to increase the load over time. I recommend building a home gym.

Don't count calories; restrict carbs.

Lift heavy.
Don't even need to restrict carbs. Honestly there ae only 3 rules.

1) Caloric deficit(80% of Mifllin Jeor calculator result)
2) Eat enough protein
3) Get enough sleep

Absolutely yes. My legs/butt have gotten noticeably bigger and tighter in my jeans since I have been doing lots of BW squats...hundreds a day at times.

For good health some cardio is required. Most of the sports we watch have a cardiovascular component to them.

The general principle is that limiting carbs is more convenient and effective than counting calories.
New studies show that high carb diets help people lose weight more than low carb diets...and it boosts insulin sensitivity so when you inevitably go off of it, it doesn't cause you to store carbs as fat so easily.

With apps like MyFitnessPal logging meals and counting calories is pretty simplistic so I don't see this as an issue really.

High-load weight bearing exercises are cardio.
I don't agree. The body needs to know how to move and carry itself. Weight training is a part of the game. Cardio and calisthenics are another part of the game.

Those studies don’t sound credible at all.

I agree with you on that 100% for general athleticism and mobility purposes. I’m saying the “cardio for basic health” suggestion includes heavy strength training. A squat program will produce similar cardiovascular benefits to someone doing sprints, as the on demands the heart are similar. There is no need to supplement that squat program with “cardio” exercises for basic health.

Here is a long but very thorough explanation of why low carb diets are not all they are cracked up to be. Especially when talking long term.

They referenced 11? journal articles I screenshotted to look up in the future.

There's a temp. machine at work because of covid anxiety and it always measures me low.
So I googled what does low body temp mean?

Diabetes or thyroid problems.

I am not diabetic but wonder about my thyroid. I mean to go buy a thermometer soon to start tracking basal temp.s at home.

So this article helped me feel selfrighteous. I know myself and when I restrict carbs too low for too long I fail and start binging on the crappy high fructose corn syrup/lower grade wheat crop carbs.

I do feel best with no chronic inflammatory symptoms when I eliminate wheat entirely from my plan although I've tested negative twice for allergy/intolerance to wheat and gluten.
However my energy levels were low the last time I gave up wheat entirely 2016/2017 and it was the author Kathleen Desmaisons who suggested in an email reply to me in her yahoo email group that I wasn't taking in enough good carbs to replace the wheat carbs I gave up.

I'm going to reread this, I got excited and started speed reading it.

I still don't agree that all of the workouts be weight only. One must at least walk or do some light cardio. Nothing worse than being strong as hell and you have no flexibility and can't walk up a flight of stairs without being winded....

No, that’s a myth. This has been studied ad nauseam . Intense strength athletes have (lower) resting heart rate and v02 max superior to the recreational gym goer that focuses on cardio. Anyone who has done any kind of squat program knows how taxing they get for the cardiovascular system. Don’t confuse with “gym bro’s” doing dumbell curls in the gym.

For me, I do outdoor track workouts 7 months out of the year and heavy barbell training for the 5 colder months. Each spring I notice very little if any drop in cardio conditioning from the previous year, despite 5 months of absolutely no running.

We will disagree and it's okay. I believe whatever study you viewed is bull. Knowing the difference of with and without cardio, I suggest every human do some small amount of cardio to build up cardio health. Some of the studies are funded to prove a bullsh1t point.

Strength training is cardio. It’s impossible to lift anything heavy without elevating blood flow and heart rate, let alone doing it repeatedly.

I agree on this, it IS.... We need some steady state cardio. You feel an entire worlds better. I personally have been strong as hell without a lot of cardio, and it sucks going up a flight of stairs and being winded, or having to run a short distance and getting winded. When in converse, you can do a minimum of steady state cardio, and go up those stairs and feel empowered, and the same with running a short distance, running it with competance.

It translates into english into some generic genie name, which is meaningless. Click on links on that google search and you can buy it for like 25 cents 50 grams.
How much do we need and I didnt see a USD conversion.

Actually testosterone levels are not highly linked to ED. Estrogen dominance is. In fact, the ratio of progesterone to estrogen is much more of a factor in ED if it is hormonal than low Test is.

If you have ED look to progesterone supplementation to restore proper balance between these 3 hormones not T levels.
I might have misread. I thought he implied libido issues.

Have you read doc Jay's estrogenationits ****ed? Estrogenics is in nearly everything. You got soy in protein powders, dressings, and a ton of over the counter items like deodorant. Not shocking the amount of fellas with low t.

Been going organic, leafy greens, and fasting. Fasted cardio and functional training. Rings. Gymnastics. Calisthenics too.
