I agree with most of what you have said, however ignoring them will only work in cases of a very high status man. In my experience ignoring women has never worked out well as I am average, even though they may be interested.

Additionally for women there is a seductive quality to wanting to be desired and men demonstrating that intention. It's why every girl has at least once liked the idea of guys fighting over them. It indicates to the world that these men are willing to risk their lives for me, I must be high social status.

Showing intention a lot of the time is all you need, I would not advice most guys ignore women, they'll never get anything!

@Pandora, even 25+ isn't peak SMV 18-23. My grandfather had no game. He could have worked minimum wage, fug ditches or cleaned toilets (he didn't). The point was he pulled 18 not busted or post wall.
