That's true. The HB9 sounded okay in texting. Super chatty and blew my phone up like a 16 yr old chick, but in person a totally different animal. It's the easiest way to meet people online. Just write a message and fire away and hope for the best.

This. You're just gonna come off as desperate. Women want a challenge; they want a guy that other women want.
You don't even have to have other women wanting you, you just need to give off that impression. This is why you shouldn't spend all day online, send too many messages or be too open about yourself.

Well, if they see you online all day, then they must be online all day as well assuming it's not a bot. I see some good looking ones who are on like 10 hours a day on the site. Some like 16 hours a date but I think those are fake profiles set up because they're HB10s. HB10 wont be online 16 hours a day.
You have to send a lot of message on OLD to get bites. If you send 3 half arse messages a week you wont get many replies when girls get 100 messages. I even asked my date and ones I talk to on OLD and asked them and they said they get bombarded and by all ages everyday. Heck a number of times they wont see your message if it falls back a few pages unless they have a lot of time to go back and read each one.
I don't know if it's like that everywhere but women I've talked to down here tell me they get bombarded on the sites by 100s of messages from all sorts of guys. PUA says men with strong profiles get about 5 percent response rate on OLD. It's like 10 to 1 on the sites men vs women. YOu really need to plug away at it and get out there and email. My messages that are marked "read" I'd say about an 8 percent reply rate I get back but I'm only messaging HB7 thru 10s mainly. I'm sure if I went lower it would be higher but I wont go lower even if it gets me more bites. The past 7 days on match and OKC I got 4 replies back out of about 15 messages read but I haven't been spending as much time on it and sending half arse messages too since I've been busy and this one I'm talking to texting now so it's cutting into my time.

I was talking about follow-up messages after you get a convo started. Don't blow her up constantly with your life story and what you had for breakfast.
Even sending a lot of initial messages shouldn't take up much time. Come up with a good opener, and then spam it.

If you have a shot with a woman, she will respond to your messages. Messaging her more often, with the hopes of winning her over, isn't going to help your cause.
I agree. The ones that seem to get to the point of exchanging numbers and higher quality looks wise are because they like my initial message even compliment me on it. Like the chick I'm texting with right now replied to it complimenting me how nice it was. I replied right away and she gave me her number.
At least with me with the replies the really hot ones are because I would point out a couple things in their profile like I actually read their entire profile they could tell. The HB9 I was that way. I dunno, maybe it's because the hot ones get so many replies by 100s of men when they see a more personal message they feel you actually took the time to read about them and not just look at their pics.
I agree about the attention *****s. There is an HB8 who is on all day long. everyday. Changing her profile pic up. I match up with what she's looking for on her profile but never a reply back when she reads them. So one day I noticed she changed her profile pic up so I messaged her and said how nice it was her smile and all and asked why she changed it up. She liked it and seem interested. I send a short reply back and no reply. Me thinks it's for ego boosting and attention. She dog sits all day she told me. I guess she's bored.
Agree. The only time I message over and over if they don't read it or log on for days. If they don't log on for days it usually gets pushed 10 pages back and they will never see it.

They see last time you were logged on. After initial exchange there will be some kind of sht test. For all those that went cold on you after exchange, it's safe to assume her sht test you online too often, or replying to quickly, or combination of both.
Woman online is like this - she there and she gets dozens of dcks wanting to bone her. By you being there and replying that often, you immediately disqualify yourself.
After she don't reply, what most people do? They write again, and again, and again, and again. Hi. Hello. Are you there. Question marks.
Then when she logs on, they write again.
They don't ever get sht.

That’s pretty much everyone online dating lol. It attracts all the people pretending to have a life but that don’t actually. Sounds like OP has some confidence issues and nothing destroys a man’s confidence quicker than burning hours online trying to get a date lol.
OP needs to get out doing ****. Build some confidence. Develop some hobbies. And meet some people IRL.
