I uninstalled all my OLD apps and focus strictly on meeting people in person. Think about it, will a 9 or a 10 with a full life be on a dating app? How about a 6, 7, or 8? Or will it be tons and tons of sub par women with very little going on in their lives? I think I will try selling on the Monday market at the university in the fall. Someone who sells there said there are a lot of hot college chicks at the school's farmers market shopping. I think you and I are about the same age going after similar things. From experience I will say that it gets harder as you get older. Younger people will still expect you to have your stuff together, plus you still have to be in the same physical shape they are in. Also, you should not have any mental disorders either. I expect to be slim when I'm 50. I run or workout everyday. Hell a lot of these girls by 25 start becoming whales.

The older chicks on old certainly have higher standards when it comes to finances and such. Their profiles are like a novel compared to a 24 year olds for example. Granted these older ones might be gold diggers because notice how in their preference they will accept a guy 15 years older. Like they're 40 they're looking for age 42 to 58 for example.

In an even smaller town over, I chatted up a gal that was impressed because I lived in a town that had the "super Walmart." As far as OLD. there wasn't one (not even *one*) female in their thirties that was college educated and with no children. I had to expand my search to 30 miles in order to find a few (and those few weren't anything special).

50 miles away was the college town. And there, you compete with guy's closer to their age, demographic etc.. When you are 15+ years their senior, this requires more effort etc... Of course, most on this forum could snap their fingers and presto, no problem. (insert a rolling of the eyes at this point).

Personally, I ended up dropping my standards in order to score. And for those reading, it wasn't due to the belief that women were out of our league. There were no (or *very* few) that would qualify for bragging rights.

That was years ago and (thank god) I no longer live there. You may have an advantage that I didn't. There wasn't "meetup" when I was in small-town FL. You probably won't find many interesting groups in your city, but the next larger town over may have a few. Give it a shot.

What part of FL did you live in? Demographics matter too. If it's outside the big major cities, even if it's a populated area, if it's mostly snowbirds and retired people you wont find a lot.

As I said in my area, almost everyone I message on OLD is about 30 to 70 miles away. The one girl that hb9 was 60 miles away and one I'm talking to right now 30 miles away. Simply is hardly anything around here except 3 decent looking ones in my county who use it but no luck with those 3. I imagine about 1000 guys in this county hit them up.

I guess it can be worse. Over on Loveshack someone who lives in the Pan Handle said it's even worse, a dating desert in North FL.

Depending on what area of the Pan Handle it might not be quite as bad because that seems to be a vacation spot for younger aged people like to go to the Pan Handle in the summer.

Somewhere like up around Gainseville might not be so bad or even Tally because of FSU. Also, those colleges do have older grad students, teachers and staff as well. However for other reasons teachers though are not always good dating material. Most are very liberal and many feminist in the universities. If you can live by a college town it isn't quite as bad.

Well, most of Missouri is like that outside of Stl, KC and Columbia. The entire state is redneck and VERY rural. than anywhere in FL. especially southern MO. Springfield isn't that bad a growing college town and lots of hot chicks there. I wish I lived in Jefferson City or Columbia up there. The women at Mizzou are simply the hottest around. Hot blonds everywhere. If you notice on the local news stations a lot of those young, hot reporters are Mizzou grads.

Looks wise I'm not impressed with the quanitity in FL. In Missouri they looked a lot better to me, healthier and more thin too.

I lived in Florida too. I’ve lived in rural areas too. Some places I was so far out that it took you 30 minutes just to get to the nearest supermarket or gas station.

I never had a problem finding attractive women even in those places. I’d hit a county fair in the middle of nowhere and there were young cuties crawling everywhere. Florida is good for street parties in the smaller cities where the main drag is shut down for a few days or a week. Certainly no shortage of attractive women there. Even a dam rodeo or drag race will have women there if you’re that far out with not a lot of options (because those women don’t have any more options than you do).

I went to the Beach last month, Manasota Key, Blind Pass, Englewood beach and saw hardly any hotties but a few high school aged ones. mostly older folks. I know, wrong area of the state you will say. I like the less populated beaches. Places like Ft. Myers Beach, Clearwater, Miami Beach have been ruined by overpopulation and too much building. Looks like trash seeing tall buildings and hotels and condos ruining the view.

Some small towns are great for meeting younger women, especially if they have a university. One of the guys I work with sells cleaner at fleamarkets and home shows all over the country and said like he'd do shows for example one in rural Texas, small town but home to a university. He figured it would be all rednecks and hicks at the home show but was shocked at the huge quantities of hot college girls at the home show from the local college who go there because they like looking at that home decore junk.

Rural Missouri you can find some really hot chicks because they put a lot of the universities out in redneck land. So you have an island of nothing but young girls. Springfield, Cape Girardeau, Kirksville, Joplin.

I'm very conservative myself. However many of those women at those redneck type stuff tend to be trashy from what I've seen, POF type. Not the type I'm attracted to.

I'm sure if I lived somewhere like Southeast FL I'd have a lot better time finding girls easier. Miami looks like fun if you have money and can put up with the awful traffic and non english speakers.

Thought about Key West but I've had relatives stationed there who lived there. Sure, it's fun, but very expensive to live there and driving to the mainland they were glad to get out of there and my cousin was only in his mid 20s living there. As I said she teaches English online which pays about $25-30 an hour and does it like 30 hours a week. She just went through divorce and lost her car to it and such so she bikes everywhere so right now it's hard to meet up. She is buying a car soon though since she has decent money coming in now since she's teaching again and she really wants to meet up and hangout with me. IMHO if I were you at least take a break from OLD. Go meet up with some friends and talk to people face to face. At least there you can have more power in the interaction.

The age group I'm looking for as well isn't on OLD much. As I said 23-30 range I'm looking for. Most of the women on the better sites like Match are 35 and older it seems here. In Tampa I see a lot more early 20s on there but too far away. I say better sites because the free sites have younger ones BUT most of them are fat, ugly, or look like sluts with tattoos all over and probably have an STD or two. People I don't want to associate with.

I mainly use match and OKC. Match is expensive and while it sucks filled with fake profiles and such, it still has the most decent profiles in the area. Eharmony looks good BUT 90 percent of my matches it gives me are in the Tampa area. Not many around here so I didn't go for the paid version.

Match has the heaviest competition too though in my region from what women tell me so you really have to plug away at it and not give up. Again, my reply rate for messages marked read is probably the 8 percent range. Again, as I said before I only message HB7 to 9 range so only the really hot ones. I'm sure I can get the reply rates up if I message like 5s or ones that are kinda chunky but I'm quality over quantity. I'm not going to message a 180lb landwhale to go out with and pay for a meal that I have no attraction to like some do on these forums lol.
