I'm spending hours a day on OLD. Is that an issue? Obsessed?

So you have seen my post about OLD, mainly Match and OKC. Anyway, on some days when I'm not working down at my business I'm on it like probably a total of 7 hours looking to see if anyone new within a 60 mile radius half way decent joins, which not many do around here and I spend my time messaging chicks when I do see one that interest me and spend time crafting messages.

It sucks, but this is the only way I have of meeting decent looking women. I mean, I see some women at the market where I got my business at but usually they're with their boyfriends or husbands. Or in my case I notice I'm checking out girls who look under 20 but they're usually with their parents or grandparents and could be of questionable age legally.

I mean, I'm less productive spending all this time on OLD in hopes I see new blood to message or a woman I see attractive. It like affects my business and getting stuff done I need to. I still haven't got July's numbers added up yet. A buddy of mine who sells online who used to work there said to focus on my business first and expand it and make as much money as possible in the short term and then when I get to my goals to focus on women. He works a full time job and outside of work focuses on growing his online business 24/7 and doesn't go out. Should I focus on making as much cash as I can in the short term then when I got lots more money use it to my advantage?

I think not having a gf is an issue here too because I'm frustrated I'm not getting any right now. People on here and the other forums suggest even just getting FWB or someone on the side, but the main issue I have with that is finding someone decent looking and who is CLEAN. Don't want to catch something.

Rethink what you’re doing here.

OLD is only productive if they are coming to you and you can be dismissive enough to hold of for something that satisfies you. Everything else about it is too time consuming.

You don’t need crafty messages and hours of combing through ads, and if you have the goods to date 9s as you say, then it takes very little for women to come to you in OLD. Or at least that was my experience. And you’ll probably fair better in real life anyway.

If OLD sucks in your area, then move on and devote time to other ways of meeting women. It’s not going to get any better with wordsmithing the crap out of your ad and the messages you send out.

It sucks in my area. The problem I have is most of them I have to message are like at least 60-70 miles away. Which you can see the problem there. It's just not feasible to date someone who lives 90 miles away and I wouldn't expect them to. Like in this region of FL there are very few on OLD under 30 years of age unlike if I start looking into the Tampa area I see huge quantities of younger women on the sites up there all the time but they're not looking for a guy 100 miles away. In fact a lot of them want one 25 miles and under away. In SWFL most of the women on OLD are in late 30s and in their 40s.

So lately on OLD I'm messaging women in their early 40s even though on their profiles most of them only want a guy 40 or over due to the fact there just isn't a surplus of women my age or in their 20s on the sites so I resorted to messaging older women, cougars and milfs. I want one under 30 but they're simply non existent in this region on there so I resort to women who are too old for me.

I'm texting with a cute 44 year old 30 miles to my south right now. probably will be awhile before we meet up for various reasons but she's cute.

LJC is right. OLD is not what it uses to be. I think the pendulum is swing back to real life situations. Not that it ever left but the euphoria of OLD is past

I agree. However, major metro areas like Tampa, and my hometown of St. Louis have a lot bigger quantities of young women to choose from on there and under 30. All about location like everything else. Again, bigger city attracts younger people for jobs, and college, entertainment.

Not to mention more trash and fake profiles it seems these days on OLD as well.

Oh well, school is starting back up in a few weeks. Maybe more younger chicks on there since they will be stuck in school. I only have one major university nearby though. I might start selling there on the Tue market they have there. Maybe I will run into some hot chicks at the university. I would take a 21 year old in a relationship if they're hot and a good personality.

You don’t have to give up OLD at all, just don’t get stuck in this trap of thinking you can tweek the process so much that you’re going get an amazing turnaround with more and more effort.

Some things can help improve results, sure. Better pictures mostly. Something unique to leave an impression in your ad, maybe. But nothing that is going to take you from a drought to an abundance of choices, short of your own radical transformation or simply going to an area where there are a significantly higher number of accessible women, like you said.

If you can’t do either realistically, leave OLD for what it is: a long shot. Something not to depend on. Focus more efforts on different avenues.

There just isn't a lot of women under 35 on old in the region right now. A couple months ago I saw a lot more in their 20s but that seemed to dry up. Now I'm seeing mostly 40 and older on there. Granted I actually have got a couple numbers the last 5 days from these older women. One is 44 and the other 39 years old. Really too old for me though but if that's all that's really out there is women older than me I guess I'll have to settle with that.

I searched places like la when I was bored one day and was amazed of the results in places like la and Anaheim.

I mean the huge quantities of hb 7 to 10s in southern california. I was like wow. Granted I'm sure a lot of those profiles are fake out there but overall huge quantities of hot ties. When I did the OLD thing, I remember I would also be waiting for new women to join the site because there was a feeling that older users probably are just jaded or met a ton of guys already. Do you find you have a better response rate with new users, in particular those who haven't put up their picture yet?

What gets me about OLD is all the DOGS on there who do.not.seek.you.out or try to message you, even VIEW you, girls WAY below me on the numeric scale, yet in real life I've banged way hotter. It's like all these DOGS should become prostitutes or something (and I imagine some of them Are), because I've been with so many other BETTER or shall I say, WAY Better, women than they. I never message users with no pics.

The key is you need to message users who are on daily and get them when they're online. If you message a girl and she doesn't log on for a week it's very likely she will never see the message because its 10npages down. You could resend the message that works sometimes.

Yea, a lot of those HB 9 and 10s are fakes even stolen photos from local girls. yes, there are some real Hb 9 and 10s on there! Some of them like in my case have issues though. When an HB 9 and 10 has to use online dating daily instead of IRL that's a red flag.
