If he said "I was fortunate to earn my start in business through my father's generosity and tuition, he gave me a start many people don't have." and even maybe added "Lots of Americans may not be able to do that, but we can all start somewhere." it would come across as admirable.Not sure why people try and use the “daddy’s money” thing against him.
Instead he says "I asked for a small loan of $10 million from my father. Then my financial genius and skills took me to the top. I'm basically a nouveau riche self made man, my family was pretty much penniless aside from the millions of dollars, LOL."
The difference in narcissism and self awareness between those two sentences is monumental. If he didn't have 5x more money than most people make in their lifetime to begin with (sorry, a "small" amount...lol) plus his father's business experience, he probably wouldn't have achieved anything big.
But to act like such a massive amount of cash is a few pennies and he is just some sort of genius rags-to-riches businessman is ridiculous and smacks of arrogance.
