Girlfriend of about a year and a half now is at the end of my rope. I’ve realized I’ve put up with way too much disrespect, and I need to end things. For good. I say for good because we’ve broken up multiple times before but end up just f*cking each other’s brains out a week later. The fact is her behavior is not changing, it just keeps repeating itself. Help me out here.

Looking for sound advice other than the cliche “just be alpha” way to break up with her. So tell me what’s worked for you. Any advice appreciated.

Tell her you are going to see other people
Tell her its over and your decision is final. No reason. No negotiating.
Delete her contact from your phone. Then put her number on the block list.
Delete and block her from all social media platforms.
Do not return calls/messages/texts/ emails.
You no longer have time for her.

Date other women.

Text her, tell her you're done, never contact her again.

Breaking up shouldn't be complicated. You should do it the easiest way possible. A simple text telling her you're done (and not responding to her afterwards) is the easiest way to do it.

Ok, look. You dated her for a year and a half, not a few dates or even a few months so be a man and tell her in person. This s*hit about texting and ghosting is just weak and makes you look afraid and weak. Make sure you tell her at her place so you can leave when you want. Just tell her you don't feel the same anymore. Tell her you did enjoy your time together and will always care about her as a person and friend, even if you don't. This may minimize the chance of her trashing you on social media or in social circles.

But don't text the breakup. Be a man.

Good luck.

This is horse chit advice.. Do not do this OP...

If the girl you was dating was a quality girl, who treated you well, and it just didn't work out, then fair enough, by all means, meet up with her & explain your position, give her closure and call it a day.. I GET THAT

But when your dealing with a chick, who repeatedly disrespects you.. Shows no concern for your feelings and zero concern about how her disrespect might be hurting your self esteem, or causing you psychological pain..

This type of girl deserves fuk all in the shape of a meet up or closure!

Woman like that give zero fuks about your feelings, so you don't owe her crap!

If a girl is treating you like chit, disrespecting you, breaking up, then back together, guess what? SHE HAS ALREADY CHECKED OUT!

A girl who wants you, loves you, would NEVER risk losing you, or continuesly disrespect you..

So your advice is, op should meet up face to face with her, when she has already checked out? This chick will laugh at ops face...

Op needs to send her a simple text... Let her know your are done with this.. NO EXPLANATION she already knows why you are bailing out.

Then block, delete... remove from social media, and move the **** on... Hit the gym, train like a beast!

Who cares how she percives op afterwards, op is done with her!

What advice is there to give? Tell her you don't see a future together and that you are done with her.

If you want to keep her around as a FWB for a while then do so and make it clear you are seeing other women and let it be up to her if she wants to continue.

And stop with the "alpha" stuff. That's for chumps who try too hard.

Please explain the reason for "not looking weak" to a woman you're never going to fvck ever again.
I shouldn't have to explain. It should be clear as day: He dated her for a year and a half. Don't hide behind your phone, show some balls, and tell her in person. It would be different if he dated her for a few weeks or a few months. Any other method in this particular case is just weak, IMO.

Too much of this s*hit (asking out, breaking up, whatever...) is done over text. It's f*ucking WEAK, IMO. You see it differently, fine. Now, if there was a huge event like she cheated or something else precipitating OP's decision for a breakup, then fine, text or ghost. But it sounds like he just wants to end things.

Maybe I'm old school, and I'm certainly NOT a Millennial, but I always have serious conversations face-to-face and don't hide behind my phone. I man up. I know this falls on deaf ears here like, "What? You mean actually TALK to her??? I don't get it..."

Yeah, that's fine.

Too funny.

What does it matter how he does it?

How manly will he look if he dumps her like a man and then goes right back to her later in weakness?

All that matters is sticking with the decision.

The op has gotten back with her several times before... Yes be a MAN and break up with her in person... Then 3 week later your back with her again... VERY MANLY INDEED

I say this is toxic.. dump.. clean break... block... move the fuk on!

Weak to who? The chick he's not fvcking anymore?

The whole "he's not a man because he didn't break up with her in person" 5hit was created by women. If he broke up with her in person, she'd just find some other way to assert how little of a man he is, like making fun of his penis size or how lousy he was in bed.

The manly way to break up with a woman is the most efficient way. Women are the ones who like to drag out the end of relationships. Why waste time out of your day to set up a meeting, waste an hour dancing around the subject, watch her cry, when you can just kill it in less than a minute?

Fvck breaking up in person. It's wasting more time and energy on some bytch you're never going to fvck again.

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

I’m almost embarrassed to say but I feel I need to grow and learn as well. She’s constantly pushing boundaries. Last night for example she told me she was staying at a “friends” house, a guy who she had never mentioned before. I told her have fun. I knew the fact she even considered staying over there, it was the last straw for me.

Normally I would agree with you, however do to our careers we won’t see each other for over a week. She’s going to know somethings up here in the next day or two.

The purpose of doing it in person is twofold.

1) It’s practice for when you do have to do it again.

2) She may be disrespectful, so why stoop to her level? You end it properly because despite her flaws she’s still a human being. Ending things poorly only poisons the well further for the next guy.

The only time I advocate non personal break-ups is with personality disordered women or a woman does something so disrespectful that she doesn’t deserve a single word from you.
