Okay and can't I place my own subjective value on them? The lazy, broke, obese girl on POF is the judge of me and I have to impress her? I don't think so.
Do you think a hamster wheel can accurately determine value? Or do they just like shiny objects?
We can't judge the girls because they have so many options that they MUST be worth something, right? After all, they have a butt!
You seemed to have missed the memo on how humans operate on this planet.
Everybody is simultaneously judging others while being judged by others.
If you judge somebody else as valuable, and they judge you as valuable, you might have the basis for a friendship or a relationship.
If you judge somebody as valuable and they judge you as NOT valuable, there won't be a friendship or relationship. Since one person wants a relationship and the other doesn't, this usually results in "negative" human emotions.
If you judge somebody as NOT valuable and they judge you as NOT valuable, then there won't be a friendship or relationship. Since neither party wants the relationship, this doesn't generally create negative emotions.
You seem to want something from others. This means you judge some part of them as valuable.
However, it would appear that few other humans find ANY value in "you" behind the cash you are willing to hand over.
This seems to be causing you a great deal of frustration.
The natural solution would be to INCREASE the value you have to offer BEYOND the cash you might hand over.
This is where you seem to be running into problems.
You don't think you SHOULD have to increase your value.
You seem to have the mindset that "I want therefore I should get."
Which is a very adolescent mindset.
Adults tend to realize that if they want something from others, they need to give those others something that others see as equally valuable.
But the bottom line is this:
Unless others see value in YOU for THEIR REASONS, they aren't going to interact with you unless you pay them.
So you can either ACCEPT that, or figure out a way to INCREASE YOUR VALUE based on what THEY want.
This is more or less the human condition, like it or not.
