I just started on sons of anarchy, there seems to be some good stuff in it.

Any other recommendations?

There are so many different types of shows.

For me as an actor and filmmaker, I try to look at what can entertain me, make me feel, and give my life lessons.

Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, and House are great shows with Better Call Saul entering its third season. Silicon Valley is a great show for young men too. Heroes was amazing as far as its first season.

Anime has probably offered me the most depth as far as examining my life, humanity, and feeling deep emotions. For men as far as anime I recommend Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, Death Note, Attack on Titan (so many parallels with our political landscape) Neon Genesis Evangelion, Cowboy Bebop (the star is my avatar), Parastye, and Berserk.

I remember when I watched full metal alchemist brotherhood for the first time. My roommate who was a navy seal introduced it to me. It totally changed the way that I view facing challenges in life.

Death Note made me realize that morals are subjective and I might be better off without them.

Attack on Titan just shows how ****ed up humanity is.

Neon Genesis Evangelion made me study psychoanalysis and really understand how each person that we meet affects us.

Cowboy Bebop showed me just how damaging holding onto the past can be.

Parastye I actually just finished. That show taught me how self righteous we human are over "lesser beings".

Sons of Anarchy was crap. The storyline fizzles out as it goes on and the men become wussies controlled by the women in their lives.

Suits has a ton of blue pill themes in it. The women basically control the men. However, it is a fairly entertaining show to watch if you know what they're doing is wrong.

I would nominate Breaking Bad and 24. I like Breaking Bad because it didn't drag on like a lot of shows these days. It started out with a beginning and an end in mind.

I do believe that it is sometimes good to watch some of these blue pill shows because they show you how not to behave.

Personally I would suggest Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones. True Detective is also a very interesting perspective, especially the first season.

Don't watch much TV, last TV show I watched was Walking Dead, it started to get repetitive so I stopped watching this season. Don't watch TV much too busy consuming content online, I am interested in Philosophy, near death experiences, spirituality, nutrition and reading.

I seen the first episode of Attack on Titan....couldn't get in to it. I use to love anime, so one day I'll give it another chance. Last 2 days I have been watching the movie Blow with Johnny Depp in chunks.....TV just doesn't do it for me, only on rare occasions

TV and videogames are a complete waste of time. You are better off reading or doing something productive! I have maybe 3 hours of "screen time" a month... well, not counting time on here...

One episode isn't enough to get into the show. By episode four you will be enthralled by Attack on Titan.

Why watch DJ themed T.V shows when you can watch DJ cartoon characters on SS.

Why watch a second hand life, when you can live your's in the first person?

I spent much of my youth measuring my life against what I saw on sitcoms. I was never going to be as rich as Ricky on Silver Spoons, I was never going to be as cool as Marshall Dillon, or Andy Griffith. Once I started going out and doing the experiences I wanted to experience, I found my confidence.

Have experiences, don't watch other people's. Pretty soon people are watching yours, and asking to hear your stories.

I thought anime was a guaranteed way not to get laid, or does it matter on the person watching it? I've never seen any of my upperclass friends watching AoT or Cowboy Bebop (then again I never asked either).

What does SS thing of Jersey Shore?

Hank Moody is king.

House was the last show I watched on normal TV, till I got a car and was out every night.

Game of thrones, Boardwalk empire had its flaws, but had some awesome characters. House of cards was great till the 4th season, Westerworld is brilliant, Rick & Morty has its moments of genius and of course South Park.

Says anime was a guaranteed way not to get laid, then asks about the Jersey Shore, a show that lowered the nation's IQ.

LMAO. What upperclass person watches the Jersey Shore? Most people who I know who watches that weren't exactly intelligent people and successful people. Though I know that Michael Cera is a big fan.

Btw, Leonardo DiCaprio is a big anime fan. So much so that he turned down Star Wars to remake the anime Robotech. Good enough for DiCaprio, good enough for any man.

But watching something doesn't stop anyone from getting laid because it's apart of who you are. That's just retarded to think that a forum of art won't get you laid.

you'll never see one of your upper class friends making their decisions based off of what others might possibly judge them for either though
